The setting here is beautiful. The river and lake are great for boating. We did have a crazy cardinal attacking our RV the whole time. Guess he thought it was his site. If you don't mind jets and planes occasionally zipping over this is a great place. We came in without reservations and were able to get a spot for 3 nights. We will stay again.

We spent Thanksgiving there with a dozen other campers. We had lot 32 ( under a acorn tree)
Acorns dropped all night. Don’t get under a acorn tree, just a word to the wise. Nice park clean, well kept.

Quiet on the Jordan River
We love staying here. sites 38-41 are the best! We are full-timers in a 42 ft fifth wheel with our 2 great Danes, but come to the area often to visit family. Easy to reserve, friendly staff, beautifully maintained, lots of activities for kids, spacious sites. Fills up on weekends; reserve in advance.

Very nice park
We had site 62. Fairly level pad with trees for shade and distance between sites. Paved roads and decent tv antennae reception for abc and cbs anyway. Would have loved to have been able to stay here the full 12 days, but due to the Corona virus, they shut the park down after just 3 nights. When we make it back here we will definitely stay here again. The noise from the airport/test facility was loud but didnt last all that long and it was quiet in the evenings.

Great Weekend Spot
This is by far one of the best places I ve been too. They have State Park patrol and the Sheriff doing periodic drive throughs. Well maintained and clean restrooms. The boat rams are easily accessible and the park in itself is huge. Guaranteed you will book another spot after your first visit.

Cheap. Needs to be maintained way better. Sites were not at all raked or cleared of debris when I was there. Lots of feral cats. Really really crappy bathhouses. Nice people, cool fellow campers... I would probably stay again, if for some reason I found myself in Kiln, Mississippi, because it's 20 bucks a night. But I'd only stay for a night.

We enjoyed our waterfront site (#49) along the Jordan River. The sites are pretty close together, but I’m sure summer and spring allow more tree growth as a barrier. Neighbors were friendly, and the little bit of noise that did exist died down around 10pm. We enjoyed the fire and a bike ride to Lazy Magnolia, a highly recommended local brewery! We will stay here again.
