The campground is small, only sites. But we were the only ones here. No electricity. The washroom is locked and the water is turned off It is located right by the river and fairly quiet.

Nice small campground, not busy right now. If you come from RT 49, go right not left at Peret Rd, follow the sign. It is close to the road, but not too bad, few cars so far. Nice picnic table and restrooms.

Moody's Landing Campground

I spent the night here in February 2019. It's extremely easy to get to, being right off of the road, but that has a slight drawback. I had to listen to road traffic most of the night. Local people also drive through the campground and down to the creek all hours of the night. The side road to the creek was passable in a Toyota Corolla and has a nice sandbar to sit on right next to the creek. This would probably be a great swimming hole! The campground has running water for washing off your sandy feet or maybe even for washing dishes. The restroom has a flushing toilet and a sink, not just a pit in the ground. That was a nice surprise! The price is right to stay here (free!) and overall I had a great time!!!
