Bad Host

Camp host had Very bad attitude and so Rude. We did not feel welcome at all. We left early and so did our friends.

Open

Contrary to National Forest fs.usda.gov website this campground is open. The men’s side of the restroom is “out of order”, but the women’s side is open. There was a camp host, one camper and 23 open sites when we arrived. We have stopped here on our trips from TX to FL several times. It’s first come first served so no guarantees, but we have always found a site…

Just called and was told that the campground is open. The number to call is 601-928-5291. I've stayed here a number of times but I've learned to call to make sure they're open.

Visited new camp host yesterday. This park is very much open. Nice park and very quiet. Definitely plan to camp here in the near future!

Closed

As of 2-15-19 this campground was closed. No sign of why just know that the gates were up and locked.

Nice place to relax

The Big Biloxi NF Campground is one nicest places that I have stayed at. The host is very helpful with anything you need to know. The sites are very clean, the are also very clean and you can smell that they are cleaned every morning. They have 50 and 30 amps, water theirs a nice little walking trail with a little River behind the park.

Overnight Review

For a small, National Forest campground, the grounds are well maintained. Not far from a busy hwy, so make sure u park more eastward to limit the highway noise . I believe it is cash only. And there is a small walking trail and beautiful river hidden not far in the forest.
