Great camping experience. Campground is on the river side of the levee. We camped directly on the Mississippi River and enjoyed watching the river traffic. $25 cash for the night. Campground floods in some years so they always have work in progress repairing and recovering. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Great Views Of The Mississippi River

We stayed overnight at this park in our 32ft Motorhome. This park it right on the Mississippi River and we enjoyed watching the barges and tug boats passing. FHU is available, but we picked a spot with no sewer because of the better views. This park is in need of some TLC.

Closed!!!

The park is closed and you don't get any warning from any website. No I didn't call yet I didn't expect to find out its closed by a small sign at a horrible place to try and turn my trailer around on a small run down road. Looks like the Mississippi River consumed the park.

Deserted and crappy facilities

Don’t go there in winter. The park was deserted, most facilities where closed and the one open in a miserable condition

Best Camp Site

We stayed here in March and it was beautiful, the campsite was easy to back in. You can't beat the prices and the hospitality. Watching the rowboat river traffic was great, and the observation tower gave an even better view.

Great park right on the Mississippi. We planned to overnight in El Dorado, AR but our plans didn't work out. We called after hours and the staff picked up, they were extremely helpful. Once we eventually pulled in after 8:30 pm they again helped us out by navigating us to our site. After we arrived a camp host come by to make sure that we had everything we needed. We've stayed on the Mississippi before and really enjoyed this spot because there is bend in the river and a view of the Greenville Harbor making the shipping activity especially interesting to observe.

Nice Park

Very nice place with reasonable rates. The man that works in the office was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will return to this park for a longer stay.
