Nice 1 night stopover
Leroy Percy State Park is a small, but pretty state park with 16 full hookup campsites, 4 cabins and a nice disc golf course. Most of the campsites are shaded, at least for part of the day. Other than one other camper who appeared to have been there awhile, we were the only occupied campsite. Mosquitoes caused us to eat dinner inside our trailer, although it was otherwise nice enough to eat outside. The bathrooms were old, but mostly clean. The only exception being the handicapped men's shower which was a mess.

Percy Is Peaceful
Nice location, well taken care of, big spacious spots, nice staff. Only negatives are mosquitoes, cell phone reception and the bridge for the nature trail needs to be fixed.

Great small camp ground. Nice area. All hook up. Not good phone service in the area secluded.

We Loved This Place!
We were at Leroy Percy for a one night stay October 14, 2020. We thoroughly enjoyed it and want to come back. It is attached to a wildlife management area and there's a lake, so there is lots to do, if you hunt or fish. The grounds are well maintained, although there are only a few full time employees. (They are working HARD to try to keep this place up. MDWFP, come on! Get them some help!) Anyway, there are only 16 campsites. We were on #7 and it was very nice and roomy. We camp in a 38 ft class A and there was plenty of room. Cell service is spotty at best, but there was some. There are FHU at this campground.

Just the nicest place. The ranger was extremely friendly. Clean facilities as advertised. We stayed 2 nights. Met a guy who fished a 20lb catfish out of Alligator Lake...We fished & canoed & hiked the great trails around the lake. No swimming, alligators. Very quiet, loved it.

We really enjoyed Leroy Percy State Park. The only thing we didn't have was a pull thru site with the other camping sites. We found a spot on the paved area with 30 amp and water only. It's a beautiful park with lots of wildlife.
