Great Place
We ended up here after our normal place wasn’t open. Absolutely loved it. They have kayaks and paddle boats that you can use. Extremely convenient if headed NW

Overnight stay
We stopped for one night on our way to the gulf coast. This is everything that we could ask for. Owner met us at the office and escorted us to the pull-thru site that was level and plenty of room. FHU conveniently together and we didn't unhitch our fifth wheel. So glad we stopped and would highly recommend for any length of stay.

Very nice park. We stayed twice on our way to and from Florida. Owner is friendly and helpful, sites are large and laid out nicely. Traveling south requires a u-turn on a busy 4 lane both arriving and leaving, but both u-turn spots have wide paved intersections that allow a very wide turning radius with no problem.

Just amazing!
Wendy Oaks is such a quaint and secluded spot. Very peaceful and relaxing. Owner is involved in every reservation and ensures your stay is above grade. We feel like we know her as a close friend. We have never had a negative experience. We love this place and will always return when we pass through.

Beautiful and Convenient
Right on the highway, but a serene little stop on a lake. The owner Melony offered sweet, southern hospitality. We enjoyed our stay will stop again. Has full hookup, wifi, fire rings and concrete pads if needed.

A Blessing!
What a blessing for us after driving for hours pushing it to dusk ! We called with the hope of a safe place to park for the night and Melanie answered our call! It’s a beautiful place with lots of trees and a lake! We had a pull through site with a lovely wrought iron table and chairs to enjoy the view!

Great Place!
Just an overnight stay with the most gracious owner ever. Melanie directed us to a large flat pull through so no leveling required. We have to do that manually so it’s a great benefit for us. There are some permanent residents which normally gives me the skeeves but every site was tidy and the place has a welcoming and secure feel. We bought new tires and the dealer didn’t inflate them correctly which we discovered while at Wendy Oaks. Melanie and one of the residents got an air compressor and helped us fill tires to correct weight. We are safely on our way and will totally recommend a short or long term stay here

Great place!!! Loved the big trees and the lake. Melanie was very much on top of everything. We stopped here on our way to Florida from Texas. We also stopped in on our way home. Was wishing we could have spent more time here.

Great Overnight Stop
Stopped here on the drive from Texas to Florida. Current (and new) owner and on site manager is Melanie. She was super communicative from the very first contact and met us upon our arrival. Melanie and her staff are working daily to make improvements to the park. Sites are well maintained and the park is overall very neat. Full hookups worked flawlessly and each site has it's own table and garbage can. The lake on the property has a population of bass and Melanie is in process of contracting with a company to maintain the water quality for even better fishing. There are a few long term tenants at the park. I met a few and they were very warm and welcoming. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice enough campground laundry and showers are newer there are 3 washers and 3 dryers they stay locked you have to get a key from staff. Cell service is good and WiFi is offered there is no cable on site. Most residents are permanent residents that kept to themselves. The site is right off the interstate so there is a good bit of noise and a train runs within about 300 yards. The only complaint I have is it was a self pay so In two weeks I couldn’t find anyone to get a key for laundry.

Quiet And Convenient
Stopped in for overnight stay. It’s right off the highway in the trees, but we didn’t hear any traffic noise at night. There was only one spot left when we arrived at 6:30pm. Pretty little lake on the property. Most campers seem to be permanent residents. People seemed friendly. The bathrooms were clean. We did not use laundry or shower facilities.

Sweet And Shady
Such a sweet little campground. Nice and friendly people that help run it. I would definitely come back and stay again. It would have been a little bit better had it had cable TV. ***
