Very accommodating and friendly folks got me set up for one night with my 40' fiver. It is a membership only park (has been since the beginning). Members can store their RV's as part of their membership. Some of them were parked here by members who are no longer around, and thus have deteriorated over the years. There are also a number of things that need upgrading, like the bathrooms for example. No luxury setting, but the basics are all here. Level concrete pads 30/50 Amp, water, sewer, friendly service. We had a good experience here. Certainly for the low price we paid.

Slumlord Ownership Be Ashamed
The good: All the campground workers were friendly and appeared to stay busy. They picked up the trash regularly.
The bad: Obviously the ownership don’t give a rats a$$about the infrastructure of their investment. The bathhouse is gross. The metal stalls rusted from the floor up about
ten inches were just gone. There’s jacked up cars, broken down RV’s, ducks and geese crapping all over the place, disgusting. The people living here seemed to be happy, hopefully they aren’t paying too much per month. Check out the wrecked class A, someone is living in. There’s also a junkyard of derelict RV’s, a old refrigerator the kids can play in. Or, try the “Addams Family” putt putt course. It was probably nice when it was new, now the turf is torn up and debris litters the course.
I never felt in danger personally, and nothing was stolen, so it could of been worse! What a dump.

Still Looking For Nirvana
RPI member. In our attempt at full timing, I rely heavily on pictures and you tube. The video I did find was, shall we say, pulling punches. I wondered why the fella was so engrossed with the storage area and all the "vintage" units. Now I know. You ever see Breaking Bad? That rig would be the cream of the crop here. Do yourself a favor. Dont go here. Your wife will not forgive you. Your kids will call social services on you. Your dog will poop in your rig for fear of getting his stool dirty outside. Its a dump. I've camped for years. First time I ever didn't take anything out of the truck. We paid for 4 nights. Left after 2 to Davis Bayou Park 20 min away. My wife and I circled the park making video and laughing. That sound uppity and snobby. But it was laugh or cry. Just go elsewhere. You see rating of 3, 4, or 5 stars. Makes no sense. Folks at desk were very sweet. Dont go.

Good for over night
Wrong area code. Update to 228. We stayed one night and that was enough. Very friendly staff. Nice little park with fishing pond, boats, putt putt, and swimming pool and jacuzzi. Could use some updating and pool could use some cleaning. Fire ants were all around our pull through spot (the only pull thru). Most sites are occupied by permanent residents.

Wrong Phone Number
I am not really writing a review just noting this app has the wrong area code in the phone number. Shoud be 228 not 288. I called and spoke to a very nice lady there hoping we get to stay there

Mostly trailers some rundown with junk. Bathrooms in bad need of repair.
Lots of junk laying around sites. This place could use a facelift.
