We had a site overlooking the lake which was nice, but the bath house was not the cleanest.

We stayed on site #38. Other than having a hill behind us, the site was well maintained.
The sites are close, however, the people are very nice.
The views are spectacular!!♥️

Nice Lake Views
Big campground on Lake Superior. They really pack them in here. Our 25’ camper took most of our camp pad and had to park my truck sideways to fit. Oops it’s on the grass a little and there are signs that say no parking on the grass. You are right next to hwy 61, so the road noise is pretty bad. Lot’s of other city noise! OK place to stop for a day or two but no longer.

Packed In
This campground is large, full and packed. Others may enjoy this, but you are right on top of your neighbors.
The family next to me essentially used my space as well as there space.
Would not stay more than 1 night. There are better options.

It was hard to get an answer on the phone. So I booked online. We stayed in the older side of campground. Site was clean and level. Beautiful lake views. Made day trips to aerial lift bridge, gooseberry falls and split rock lighthouse. Loved all of them. Walked around the town of two harbors, nice little shops and down by the breakwater was neat to see the huge ore ships.

This campground has some beautiful sites right on the lakeshore for camping. The views are spectacular from these sites. I have stayed here many times over the years with my parents, my children and now my grandchild. My only complaint this last trip was the showers- they were filthy. The same disgusting wad of hair there at the beginning of the week was still there at the end of the week! I dreaded every trip up there! Please take note of this City of Two Harbors!!

Hi Prices / Packed In!
This is a large campground that has tent and RV sites. The prices are really high and vary depending on your rig. I never could g t them to answer the phone over a two day period. Stoped in to see the place. It’s an older park in some spots and newer in others. The running rate for a 30 amp all in was about $50. The bathrooms are old and need updating. The sites.... some are on the water (which you pay extra for) and your packed in like sardines. The place is clean and the grounds picked up and mowed.

Can't Answer Their Phone
I did not even end up staying here. The problem is that they do not answer their phone. It goes straight to a voicemail and they take around a day to call back. I called three times total.
Call One: Left a message to make a reservation. Just over 24 hours later they call back. And we set up the reservation and pay for the site. A few days before we go to the site the next week a change of plans happens and we need to add an extra night.
Call Two: I leave another message asking if I can add a night. Around 20-24 hours later, they call back and I cannot. My only option is getting another site there and moving campsites sunday morning due to other reservations. That sucks and I still have time so I say Ill call back. I end up finding another site that can accomodate me.
Call three: I ask for a call back. 20ish hours later they finally call back. I have already stayed one night at the other site. They will not let me cancel the reservation or refund me.

LOVE THIS PLACE!
This campground is amazing. Stayed there last fall and my kids still talk about how much they love it. It's right on the lake with gorgeous views and lots of shoreline for agate hunting. Location is perfect for a day trip up the shore or for spending a day in Duluth. If you need anything last minute, the campground is right in town with that in the country feel, so you can run to the store if needed or do a little shopping at some of the shops in Two Harbors. I can't wait to go back!

Quiet campground, many sites were available when we arrived but were told over the phone they only had one left. Pretty view of Lake Superior. Sites are small.

Many sites available with view of Lake Superior. See ocean ships, iron ore boats, fishing boats, and recreational boats pass by on their way to Duluth and Two Harbor ports. Beautiful Fall colors and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Close to Betty's Pies and Gooseberry Falls.

Beautiful view of Lake Superior!! City owned park so the upkeep is lacking. Staff is less than helpful, most of the park is old and the sites are very small. But again the most beautiful bay on the lake.
