Quiet Getaway

We found this to be a quiet campground, and relatively clean. Some sites are close to the river and you can easily hear the rapids. Lots of hiking. Easy access to river for fishing. Also, two miles to boat launch at St Croix river and three miles to a very popular local winery. There is a short but very steep hill on the way in. Most vehicles should be OK, but if you have trouble with hills you will need a running start on a blind, one-way road to get out. BEWARE! LOTS OF TICKS.

Hear The River

I loved the relatively private sites. Well maintained. Beautiful sound of the river. Ring fire pit with grate, picnic bench, toilets, drinking water.
