We absolutely love this one. Nice and clean. Lots to do. Will definitely stay again.

Human
One of the first state parks that we camped at after moving to MN in 2003. Been there twice since. Sites are adequate, but there are better campground in MN.

Beautiful Park
Sites are large, grassy, mostly flat spaces cut out of the forest. Each site has a table &a fire ring, we had an electrical site. Bathrooms were clean with showers! Lots of great hiking, nice swim beach, not on the big lake, Mille Lacs. Bike trail nearby in town, 10 miles. Only downside was that the Deer Flies were horrible, drawing blood at times! Had to wear nets to hike! Come back in the fall when colors change & deer flies are less aggressive. Or in the winter to ski their many miles of X-country ski trails. Love Minnesota State Parks!
