Maple Grove Campground is better. Fantastic Beach and Playground Area. Nice Park

Not Bad For A State Park

Lots 1-7 are all non electricity but have a lake view. A bit small and mostly gravel. Showers and bathrooms are clean but up the hill. All and all a nice place. Price $24 a night + $7 for a day pass

Human

Park is small, but campground is really nice. Five stars from me.

Shady Sites

Mostly flat, grassy sites with lots of shade. Electrical Sites are not private, mowed lawn between sites. If you want private forest sites go to Mille Lacs Kathio State Park. Large sandy beach on Mille Lacs Lake. Bathrooms were clean with showers. Not a lot of hiking but 10 mile bike trail just outside the park. Town of Isle is very close with shops, gas, grocery & restaurants. Lovely park, well maintained!
