Adequate But TIGHT
We spent 2 nights on our way further North. It is a lovely park but they are squeezing everything in here possible. Several tent sights and 25 RV sites. I added 2 map pics and zoomed in on one to give more detail.
We stayed in site 9 and it was plenty for our 24' TT. Sites 6-11 seemed to have the most room. Sites 12-25 seemed very tight, with the exceptions of 19 & 25 because they were on the end. We had water+electric. Dump station over by the shower house was an easy entry but a tight exit especially if you are bigger than 24
The shower house was not as bad IMO as a previous review stated. $1 got me a 5 min shower which was plenty-I don't take long showers though. Toilets are motion flush which never seems to be well programmed and these were no exception. I did check out the showers in the lower level of the Library/Community Center and thought they were dank and nasty.
Easy access to the trail, several quaint shops, eateries, and a small grocery

Showers
Showers are $1.00 for five minutes so don’t use the shower house by the campground by the library. Use the ones in the basement of the library. Much better.

Riverside Campground
Awesome location right on the Root River just above the dam. Drove our MH straight into site 1 to overlook the water. High school football game one night right behind us. Definitely come again, so much to do in the area (we tow a Jeep for transportation).

Pleasant, tree shaded park close to quaint shops and bike trails. Beautiful scenery all around.
