Hmmm
Tried to reserve a 30 foot site. It appears they don't exist. Hmmmm. Then say so.

Nice Park
II thought I knew about everything in Duluth after 40 years of camping but I was wrong. Never been to this part of Duluth or this park. It's a typical RV park with the usual pros and cons. Bottom line is I would stay there again.

Nice city owned park
We had a site near the fishing/boating docks and the shoreline trail. A very nice park. Has showers, but only for tenters because of Covid19. Laundry room by appointment only for same reason. We enjoyed our stay here and its location near Duluth & Lake Superior. However, don't plan on getting a spot on the weekend unless you plan ahead. A bit pricey for elec/water hook-ups only. There is a dump station. I would stay here again.

Proximity To Duluth
We pulled in on a wed. Site 25 has a nice few of the shed with a pile of construction materials. We were told we couldn't drive on the grass to point our door towards the firepit and actual site (which was spacious). We spent most of our time seeing the sites of Duluth and Two Harbors so we dealt with it. Very close proximity to biking trails and Duluth whi h was important for us. But this is definitely a no frills campground.

Could Be Nice...
Very disappointed with the bathrooms. Setup is not user friendly as only 2 stalls for both sexes, which includes toilet. Those tenting have no choice. If you can't get sewer hook-up, don't plan on staying long. We stayed several nights and found the bathrooms filthy every day as most of the sites were full. Wish there was better maintenance by the staff. Very dishardening, considering the expense.

Consistent
I hadn’t stayed at this campground for 13 years and when I compared the photos from then to now the only thing that had changed was the size of the trees. The campground isn’t spectacular but it offers a location close to downtown and easy access to major roads. The river surrounds the majority of the property. The bike path is close and the zoo is within walking distance. It’s a great choice for a spot camp when your main objective is to see attractions and need a place to sleep.

Great Campground!!
The campground is right down the road from a paved bike trail that goes on forever. Perfect place for a run or bike ride. The girl at the desk was friendly and helpful and the bathrooms were ok. Overall, a great place to stay.

Decent
Decent little park. Close to town. I wish more sites had full hookups. We can never seem to get one.

Everything you need, nice and close to downtown Duluth and attractions, my only complaint is it is kind of a dingy area. It was a okay place to spend the night, but it is not like a state park, there is nothing to do at the site.
