Beautiful Park
Off season only saw one other camper. Host was extremely helpful and loved dogs. Very nice park with good spacing. Some of the best scenery in the Midwest.

Great Park
What a nice park. Overall very clean and new shower house. Though I didn’t use, the wife said it was very nice and clean. Great hiking trails. Exploring around the swinging bridge was cool. Got some good photos off the beaten path on the the rocks. Sites were nice but would stay away from site 52 with anything larger than a 26ft trailer. Was a struggle to get in. Overall great park, friendly staff.

Great Camping Experience
Nice woodsy setting with comfortable distances and vegetation between campsites. Friendly staff that accommodated our trailer and truck length so we didn’t have to unhitch for an overnight stay. Wish we could spend time to hike the numerous trails in the park. Brand spanking new shower and bathroom building opened last week. Would have rated it a 5 except there was still some temporary construction disturbance on some roads. Pet friendly on a leash! Gift shop and firewood available on site. Very cool “swinging bridge” over the St Louis River in the Park.

Family Favorite Campground.
We love Jay Cooke! The campground itself is beautifully wooded, and backs against awesome rock walls with many trails for hiking, skiing and biking. The river is majestic. The rangers are great. We’ve camped here during all seasons and cannot get enough.

Wonderful state park! The St. Louis River is really nice to see. Very nice hiking around the park as well, many trails following the river. Campground is well maintained, a little more strict than other state parks we've been to. Overall, great experience and wonderful area
