Nice spot to spend time. Location to town & lake is awesome. The park has a verity of sites each is different in size & looks. All sites are dirt & grass. The park is growing… they are building a new area, too early to tell what it’ll be like. The owners are very nice & easy to work with.

Nice Enough

Everything is shut down due to Covid so no office contact, no laundry, no clubhouse, no restrooms. They just had our papers laid out on the front porch. Super convenient to town and the surrounding state parks as well as the highway. It looks a bit junky as you first pull in but the sites are nice.

Very Nice

We just spent the past two nights here. Would have liked a state park but we are 40ft- too large for most. I called in advance to place our reservations and mentioned that I wanted a real camping feel- trees, quiet, campfire. Royal Oaks met our needs perfectly. Large, level site , easy to maneuver. Very nicely maintained grounds . Spotless bathhouse and Laundry! The owner Terri, is super nice and helpful. There is wood here to purchase- please don’t bring any in. The park is convenient to downtown Bemidgi as well as Itasca State Park. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed spending the night in this campground. The smell of woodsmoke, a slight snap in the air, the beautiful trees and generously sized sites were just what we needed. We enjoyed walking our dog in the field adjacent to the park, which is owned by the church down the road. Showered and did laundry and had restful sleep. It is next to the highway, as another reviewer mentioned, but we didn't hear anything over the little fan we run at night.

Great Campground

This campground was a great surprise like the city and had a great rate. Although it was on a major road where our spot was you couldn't hear the car noise. The owners were nice and on Friday night there was a group campfire. The facility was clean along with the bathrooms. Most of the sites are backing but they are wide enough for slide outs.
