Large Sites, Many With Great Views

Many sites are right on the water and have beautiful views. We had an interior spot which wasn't as nice but was huge and had decent privacy. Some sites are reservable others are FF. Dump and water fill + dumpsters at entrance. Small boat launch and dock. Didnt use bathhouse. Roads are in horrible shape. No electricity so there was some generator noise, but most people only ran them for a short time (end of May and cool weather). Hosts did a good job keeping an eye on things.

Only Stayed One Night

Nice campground but only had one night there, sites were spaced good with trees and brush between. The dock needed lots of work and was blocked off.

Beautiful Campground

Beautiful National Forest Campground that was perfect for my birthday weekend. They stay booked up, but have many 1st come/1st serve sites so we were lucky to stumble upon the perfect site (26) for 2 nights. Lots of the sites 1-49 have a private beach with access to the Lake thru the woods. Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful but didn't bother us otherwise. Would definitely visit again when in the U.P.

National Forest Camping

Sites are bigger than State Parks, most are level and suitable for an rv. Some are on the lake, site 31 is perfect with a sandy area at the waterline. Only complaint would be people running generators so much. When driving around looking for the right site, listen for the generators, and choose something away from the racket.

Had a great time. Beautiful lake front campsites. Very clean and awesome hosts.

We Love This Campground!

We stay here every time we come through the UP. It is clean, quiet, the lake is great, sandy beach, clean restrooms, good hosts. It can fill up fast on weekends!

Love this Campground. Manager and Host are very friendly. Big Rigs have tons of room. Sites are huge with trees between sites. Many sites are on the lake.
