Simply Scenic

A very beautiful campground with walking access to Lake Superior and direct on-site access to the Lake. Many of the campsites were closed, which meant more space for individual campers. The only downfall are the massive biting horse flies on the beach at Lake Superior!

Nice Park

Just to clarify no water hookups at sites but they do have a fill station. Clean showers and bathrooms. Nice hiking trails and easy access to OHV trails. Be prepared for a 10 to 15 degree drop in temperature from what is showing in Newberry. The store at Deer Park is just up the road for those restocking or forgotten items and has quite a selection at reasonable prices. The Deer Park store also has a laundromat and chiropractor services available. Firewood and ice on site. Secluded wooded sites or open field sites are available.
