This is a great campground. Great beach access. Clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. The only issue was the campsites are very close together and we had neighbors that drank alot, played loud music, and had intense games of corn hole until 1am. One man even stood about 5 feet from the back of our camper and urinated while I sit less than 15 feet away from him. Finally, at 12:45am (quiet time began at 11pm) the campground host shut them down. It still took a good hour before they finally went to bed. We stayed for 3 nights. Tues-Thur. This issue was on Thur.

Lovely Location

Great beach access here. Easy to walk or ride bikes to town and small harbor. Very windy at night with power flickering on and off. We got a few groceries in town. Better selection for groceries was at gas station. $35 water and electric at site. Dump station in campground you have to drive to.

Nice

Right on superior, 25 ft drop to the lake. Shower cost you .50 cents. There is a laundry too. Fire pits. Shade. No sewer hook ups but I've dump station. Staff very friendly. Park is owned by the township.

Time Well Spent

We took a premium spot which was well worth the money! The view was awesome. Walked the beach for hours, best rock hunting we've found. Hiking distance to Sable Falls. Walking distance to quaint town. Yes, church bells on the hour, but not obtrusive at all.

Ok

Normally I think campgrounds like this one are great, and depending upon your experience, you will like the place. What no one tells you is that there is a church across the street that plays egregious electronic bells every hour. Even worse, at noon and at 6, you get besieged by hymns, 2,3 or 4 of them. We won't even talk about Sunday morning. If you want to sleep in on Sunday, this is not your campsite.

Last Stop On Circle Tour

This is a no reservation park. We (two class A Tiffins) knew that getting a site would be chancing it on the weekend before the 4th. Yep, all full, so we took the overflow east of the park. What a pleasant surprise! Plenty of room, no neighbors, green grass and quiet, albeit no electric hook up (but that is what generators are for). Love this park and been here before with no crowds. Short walk to Grand Marais where great food and drink await.

Very good views and priced right. We rate it. We would CAMP here again. 4 out of 5 because you only get a 5 if you can see the waterfall from your camper and the boat picks you up at the door.

This campground had everything we needed with great views easy to walk to downtown and a gorgeous beach.

A Gem

This is a gem of a township park. Clean, friendly, and close to a lot of things to do.

We liked the end spots (in the 50's) near the water. Not much privacy between sites but wasn't too loud even with a music festival in town. Easy access down the dune to the lake to hang out on the beach or agate hunt. Super close to the little town to walk for ice cream, groceries etc. don't forget to bring quarters for the showers.

It was a cold 4th weekend in 15. But it was the reason u became the person I am today. Life catches you quick. See the parade
