Heading Home
Very nice campground. Half of the sites are on the Colwell Lake. Most sites could handle a 35' motorhome. Good distance between sites, 3 or 4 sites have power didn't check the amps. With power $26.00, no power $22.00 walk up? tent maybe $20.00. fire pits, beach area, boat ramp, and a fishing dock. Walking path around the lake. Camping last week of September 2021 5 camper at this time trees are starting to change colors mainly the maples. Well worth the stay.

Best Host
In several years of RVing we have stayed in a lot of campgrounds. Campground Host, Ben, was probably the best host we have ever met! Kudos to him. Extremely helpful. 2.25 mile, well marked and well maintained hiking trail around the lake. Fishing, kayaking and canoeing on the lake. Dump station with potable water. $20, $10 with senior pass.

A New Favorite!
We stayed six nights in September 2019 (site#15). Sites are large, wooded, and mostly level. Three sites are electric (2, 3, and 4). Many sites are reservable. There is a tank dump station with potable water fill. The helpful host says the CG really jumps from July 4th through Labor Day. Boaters and jet skis. If that's your thing, make a reservation. After Labor Day things quiet down. Nice trail around the lake.
