Great Campground

Found this great little campground because nothing was available on the shore. Best thing that happened! The new owners are so nice and extremely helpful. Water and electric hookups with dump station. Firewood and ice are readily available. Gift shop on site grocery store nearby. Volleyball court with sand. Cute cabins available to rent too. Clean restroom and shower. Kayak and canoe rental on site. This campground is centrally located to major sites. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely be staying right here. Highly recommend this campground. We don’t think you will be disappointed either.

Central Location

Perfect location for base camp. We ran in all directions for 10 days, but also just relaxed watching the river on campsite #6. Owner’s were fantastic, even sat at picnic table and talked with us. We spent a night camping on Lake Superior, and felt safe leaving all of our supplies there. Please ask which repellants work best on black flies. I had no idea that certain repellents are useless and may even attract them. We had it figured out towards the end. Suggest taking canoe or kayak trip which can be completely booked at campground, very convenient. We will be back. Hopefully we can get video loaded.

Relaxing

We loved this campground. RV site had electric, water and was very level. Restrooms and showers were very clean. We enjoyed fishing at the pond and utilized the kayaks they had for rent on the property. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer!

Great Place To Stay

We stayed here two nights while traveling in the UP. We plan to come back next year for a longer stay. There's electric at every site. The restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. They also have cabins for rent. The river passes along the campground. They offer canoe and kayak rentals. The campground is located near Seney National Wildlife Preserve and many other attractions. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

Overnight

We came in later in the day. Super nice owners! They helped us to our campsite and helped us back in, then made sure we had everything we needed. It is a nice place along a river, I would stay again.

One Night Stay Big Rig

Nice laid back owner. No water or sewer on site. 30 amp. On river w canoes for rent. Bath limited and for one at a time. Clean but will use ours. Grass gravel sites. Best for small RVing. Best in area.
