September 11/15th. Spot 52. Large concrete pad, pull through, full hook-ups, cable, plenty of space between spots with small trees and bushes as a divider. Good tasting water, water pressure was at 30 psi. Large resort area with cabins. Quite a few open area camping spots with full hook-ups. and campsites with electric and cable and others with water electric and cable. Boat ramp good for small boats, there is a DNR boat ramp two miles away. Four of us with two 5th wheels had a wonderful time. The daily rate for this time of the year $45.00. Plus we received a September 20 percent discount. We will be back. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Shady Business Practices
I am rarely harsh with my reviews unless it is deserved, and this is deserved. What a dump! The bathhouse needs to be demolished! It’s disgusting. I would think an establishment like this would be concerned about ensuring a return customer base, but based on the customer service and the attitude of “getting paid”, I can’t see how this business has had this much longevity. You are better off boondocking then staying here! I read a yelp review that said there was a aggressive exchange between mgmt and a camper. They felt threatened watching.
They are clearly desperate for cash flow, if they would treat their guests fairly it wouldn’t be an issue. They want your cash. They need a lesson in BASIC customer service. Don’t stay, move on down the road.

Great camp, wonderful staff. Stayed 3 nights in #1, slopes toward lake, no big deal, a couple inches to level. Easy in and out. Plenty of space to park second vehicle and dolly.

Nice Campground
Spent Wednesday to Sunday there recently. Property is directly on the lake with area to harbor boats, your own or theirs to rent. The campground has nice grassy spots, some with a concrete pad. Great for campers with children as there is a playground area & volleyball and basketball areas. Clean restrooms but dated, remember, you're in the U.P. About an hour to Tahquamenon Falls east and an hour to Pictured Rocks west. Nice central location for exploring. Be sure to see the Big Springs attraction just a 1/2 hrs or so west from the campground. Curtis has all you need for anything you forgot to bring or run out of. Party store, gas, thrift store, post office all there. Internet was out 3 or 4 days, but not there to use the Internet, eh? Enjoyable visit
