Caution
Access is by means of approximately 1 mile of gravel. Be careful of trees hanging out into roadway. Our site was not level, and my assessment of most the lots that they were not level either. Sites were relatively spacious. Again some low laying trees. WIFI was non existent except at the back of the resort. Stayed two nights and never did see any management nor was the office ever open. The fee for this place was OK, but we will never return.

Stayed 2 nights on route to Mackinac Island. What a beautiful place on the bay. Loved hanging out at the Tikki restaurant and bar for the sunsets and excellent food.

Love this place
Just finishing up another stay for the 3rd year in a row. Even though the restaurant is closed we still had a great time. A few games of golf, great campfire cooking and booked our stay for next year. Couldn't have asked for a better time.

Over Priced
Over priced for what you get.no Verizon phone service, crappy wifi. Not any lot is level. Restaurant closed for two years now. Park is for sale? One washer and dryer, closest shopping is 28 miles from here, and no ota TV.

Secluded Camp
Nice park great views, getting a44' rig into spot #39 was SKETCHYYYY... Pictures don't show it but this camp is on slopping terrain and the loop is not very wide. Backing in required the front driverside wheel to graze the edge of a man made cliff. Yikes. Full hookups at $35 / night for this area seemed inexpensive, quiet, not many families, semi- tree shaded, spotty WiFi, ZERO cell service. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the '21 season and is for sale.

While the restaraunt was not open, we enjoyed our stay here. Our first sight didn't allow us to easily get level but we were offered one that fit us better. We stayed in sight 40 with a nice view of Big Bay de Noc. I found the Wi-Fi adequate 2 of our 3 days here. No cell service with our Straight Talk. We rode our E bikes 10 miles to Fayette Historical Site. Really enjoyed it.

Another Great Stay
We stayed for a week last year and couldn’t wait to come back. This time we stayed 3 weeks and still hated to leave. Beautiful park on a bluff overlooking Big Bay de Noc, with a restaurant and marina below accessible via a footpath. Large grassy sites with mature trees. Many sites have a lake view. Parking pad and patio are crushed stone. Park roads are gravel, level, and smooth. No problems navigating in our 40’ motor home. Full hook ups. We had no problems with utilities, but a couple of neighboring sites had low power issues which management was addressing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again next year.

Class A 38. Great park. Easy in and out. Nice sites. Great view of the lake. Clean and well kept. Shopping is about 40 minutes away so come stocked. Dog friendly with plenty of area to walk. They sell firewood. Nice dockside restaurant you can walk to. We had a very nice stay.

Best Ever
We were told about this campground the night before we left. Thought we'd check it out. It is by far one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed in.
LeAnn was a delightful host and accommodate us well. Bath & Showers were spotlessly clean. We will diffinatly be back.
A hidden gem.

Great Place
Small, quiet camp ground. Seems to be a view from every site, the harbor below is quite beautiful. Full hook us sites, with both 50 and 30 amp. Camp sites are large, and not stacked up, but spaced nicely. The bath house was clean and tidy. We will definitely be back. No cell service, but there is a land line at the bath house, free of charge. The wifi leaves a bit to be desired, more a an issue with the kids.. we stayed over the fouth of July, neighbors had a nice little fireworks show.

Stay Here!
What an absolutely lovely park. A hidden gem. It is situated on a bluff overlooking the lake. We had nice cool breezes off the lake every day, and there are plenty of mature trees for shade. Sites are large. There’s a walking trail to the restaurant at the bottom of the bluff, which serves delicious food on the lakeside deck. The park is set way off the road, so it was very peaceful. It is well signposted from the highway. The roads in the park were easy to navigate in our big rig. Our camp host Leanne was a sweetheart. If I had to find a fault, it’s that it took some effort to get level, but in the end we did. This will be a destination that we visit again and again. Don’t miss it.

By Far Best Campground We've Found In MI
Traveling since May (from Tennessee) and found this campground by accident. We'd already paid at a nearby campground and were just tired of our rig being covered with mud, our camper covered with sand and getting eaten up by mosquitos. We stopped to look and can honesty tell you... don't waste your money anywhere else like we did. This is a safe, quiet, clean campground. The manager is super nice and she manages this campground like it's her own. The owners built this campground and if you are a real camper, you'll realize the attention to detail when you arrive. This is a well managed campground and it was a relief for us. We will be back! Oh, and no mosquitos here. Not sure how or why, maybe since its not in a swamp like most of the others? And no muddy sites!
