We Loved This Place!
We stayed here for 2 nights. We had spot 10A. The park is close to Salem and it’s easy to get into town. One evening my dog and I walked to the Willows and got a few tacos and churros, then ate them in the park while looking out at the ocean. We loved it!
The ladies at check-in were especially nice! They gave me all kinds of information, even though it kept them from going home on time.
It is important to remember that if you stay on the parking lot portion, that this is a place of business during the day. However, most activity ends at around dinner time. It was very quiet at night.
We would definitely stay here again!

Don't Let The Reviews Stop You!
This is a hidden gem but you have to go outside the park to dump your waste. This process is painless and easy with a quick trip around the corner. I have read other reviews about this being difficult to access, (dump site) but it is not. The park offers much in the way of views of the ocean, a nice little beach and even a fun time at the "Willows" featuring kids fun, an 100 year old popcorn vender and ferris wheel that is a dream of historic beauty. From the small light house to the connection to our military past, you can walk through the fort or see the remnants of WW2 hanger and barracks while having access to trolley tours and even water shuttles to Boston. Interesting and inexpensive option for seeing historic "House of Seven Gables" and all Salem and Boston has to offer.

Highly recommend

Great Location
You will be hard pressed to find a better location and I found it more than pleasant. If you are a history buff I think you'll really like this place. Yes the sites are close together but the surroundings are beautiful. We had no problems with electricity or water hookups . They do not have full hookup sites but there is access to a dump station. Restrooms were clean and conveniently located. I can't wait to stay here again !

A Nice Place To Stay
If you're looking for resort camping, this is not it. If you're looking for a nice place to stay several nights and visit beautiful Salem, MA, it's perfect. It's well within biking and walking distance of downtown Salem! They even have a trolley that will pick you up at the site to take you there (for a fee). The sites are a little close, but all our neighbors were great. Keep your trash inside or throw it away nightly, or you might get a visit from the local raccoons. Overall, I'd go back again!

Convenient location
2 stars only because of convenient location. The rv park is retrofitted poorly, it's better for tent camping. Expensive for a city park. $39/night. Office was closed when we checked in at 2:30 pm. (Supposed to be open til 4pm). Breakers kept popping and lost power x3 in one day, with nobody answering the phone at the office. Just disappointing service for the price.
