Best Campground In Gloucester
While this is the only Campground in the Gloucester area,it is not that bad. The staff is friendly and helpful at check in. We were in the big rig section (31' Class C) down front with full hook up but the sites are narrow with no campfire rings. Further up the hill are the spots for smaller campers and tenters.

So Nice
First trip into the area. Wonderful campground. Wonderfully family run. We were way up in the back corner. Pretty sites in the trees. No sewer except for the big rigs by the road. The roads are narrow.
Loved our 3 night stay here.

First Time, But Not Last Time Here!
Wonderful, quiet, campground built around the natural landscape. The kids loved climbing on the rocks, and finding the trail to the river view. The campground is conveniently located near Wingersheek beach, and about 5-10 minutes from Downtown Gloucester and Good Harbor beach. The women in the office are very helpful providing suggestions and such for the surrounding area and discount parking passes are available upon request for area parking lots. This was our first time camping here, but it definitely won’t be our last!

This will be our 3rd year going to Cape Ann in Gloucester, I really can’t even imagine going somewhere else! Friendly, helpful family owned campground. Wingaersheek beach it’s a short walk down the road. It's a great beach for kids since the water is shallow for a long ways out and there are tons of large rocks to climb on. As the tide rolls out it leave big pools. Love that beach! Oh across from Cape Ann Campground you can launch your kayak or canoe! It’s my happy place can you tell?

Nuts Falling
The best part of this campground was location and the people. I hate being negative but It had very uneven terrain with lots of big rocks and narrow roads that weren’t always paved in areas. There are nut trees and sandy soil. We had nuts fall on our camper often. No laundry facilities. Three days of drizzle and rain made it difficult to keep the camper clean.

Wow
Very narrow roads getting to park and into park. Hilly and unlevel. Very dark. Not impressed.
