Short Stay For A Terrapin
Second time we have been here. Last time was 10 years go as we are West Coasters, although I went to UM in the 70’s. Very nice park, close to UM, DC etc. Our Goldens loved the walks and the field under high tension lines. Nice folks. Did our own night lights tour of monuments as $70@ was a little steep. Our site 733 while nice was narrow with slides out and like last time could have been a little more level. Trees are nice but Dish was blocked and obstructions with Star-link

We so enjoyed our visit to this park, it made our visit to Washington so enjoyable even with the heat during our stay. The tours that leave directly from the park are top notch, we took the day trip and the night tour, not the same day of course. Our driver and knowledgeable guide, Carl, made our tours comfortable and he even added a few extra places that were not included. We highly recommend this campground.

Proof 100+ Years, They Get It Right!
This CG is an awesome 5+++++ place, close to DC and Arlington NVA. The resort is impeccably clean, the entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Amenities are great, from multiple pools with lifeguards, to showers, laundry rooms, playgrounds, pet areas, even tire stations for your rigs. They even have two full time staff to assist in your plans to and from DC. We drove to most attractions downtown within 35 min. Arlington is approx. 40 min drive and an hour to Quantico. We highly recommend this CG. Sites are beautiful and clean. Great hook ups, with 70+ channels of cable. WiFi needed a browser. Multiple clubhouses, even a restaurant that delivers to your site. The store is awesome and close to food stores, gas, medical center and shopping.

Best Campground We've Seen
Never having been to the DC area we were a little uncertain how to get around and see what we wanted. Cherry Hill Park (CHP) made everything super easy. Their concierge Cathy told us everything at the Tour info session. Their 5 hour night tour of DC was excellent. Their pools, store and restaurant were all clean, well staffed and had everything we needed. My highest recommendation.

Nice Park In The Middle Of Everything
Great park, big spaces, and clean. We wish we had more time to spend here. This place is more of a vacation resort.

Perfect Location, Great Amenities
This campground has a perfect location, close to IKEA, DC. Bus are coming inside the campground to pick-up people.
Great amenities, super clean bathrooms, nice trail all around the park for our doggies.
Nice people. Be careful to choose a spot not too close to the highway if you want a quiet stay.

Great Campground To Visit D.C.
Bus tours to D.C., great store, access to the bus right at the entry---this place is fabulous for touring D.C. Great cafe and laundry. Showers were clean and many of them. They have all the info for sight seeing in the area. Barbara was so helpful. She holds a meeting every day at 4:00 to help your sightseeing. Our site and several others had too much slant without additional boards under the tires. The only thing is this part of the country has stink bugs. We finally learned don't squash them and put them in your trash as it attracts more. We have carried them from here to Delaware and I am sure we will take some home to Florida.

What A Great Place
We came for Labor Day weekend. Managed to get a reservation the week before, as we just bought our camper! This place is fun, clean and the people are super friendly. Lots to do. Wish we had 3 nights instead of 2. Thankful that there is a lovely, affordable campground that is so close to us!

Great Park + Great Location For DC
You will appreciate attention to detail throughout the entire park. Nice landscape, clean level sites with full hook ups, best laundry room I’ve seen in a park, TV Room, guarded entry for added security, good WiFi, well stocked store and more. I have been RV camping for 19 yrs and this is the nicest park I have ever stayed in. Far enough from DC to give you a nice camping feel yet close enough to go into DC to see the sights.

Very Nice Campsite.
Easily the best facilities of the campsites we stayed at in our 6 weeks cross country road trip. The bathrooms are always clean, there are nice kids parks, 2 pools, a splash pad, massive laundry, games room (which I see as a negative) cafe and a really well stocked shop. It is a 5 minute drive (and there is a bus stop on site) from the metro to downtown DC. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 not 5 8s that it is a little noisy, and the RVs are all close together. It is really urban camping.

Best....Experience....Ever
This park has everything you need and more. Competitively priced with an excellent location and almost every amenity a family could need.
The place is spotless, the staff is friendly and helpful, cafe is very tasty, security is diligent, sites and level and well manicured. We stayed 5 days and felt our money was well spent. Highly encourage RVers to consider Cherry Hill Park when contemplating a DC trip.

Very Clean!
This was our second stay here, the first time was in 2000. It is one of the cleanest, nicest parks we have ever stayed at. The prices are really not bad considering the proximity to DC and all of the amenities they provide. Same as 19 years ago, we used the travel kiosk at the campground to buy tickets for metro bus and subway. Short bus ride right from campground to subway. I would suggest getting a taxi from the metro to the camp (behind bus stops around parking garage) when returning later at night. Only minimal complaint would be the traffic noise seemed to be 24/7, but this is the place to camp to tour DC!

Home Away From Home
Well kept, nice and helpful staff, metro access to everywhere. Roads around DC leading to the park are pretty rough, batten down the hatches. Enjoying Cherry Hill Park and the DC exhibits. Just a tip for you streaming junkies...you will need to set up a hotspot for connecting your Chromecast, or your own router. The campground wireless requires sign-in and thus a workaround. I happened to have a Windows 10 tablet on hand and was able to connect. After a bit of frustration... Play area can get a bit noisy as expected, you may wish to request a location away as there are several directly adjacent.

Camper
Very nice campground, with a well-stocked store, access to the Metro Transportation System, and much more. My problem began when I went to shower at Bathhouse 1. The water gets warm, then goes cold. It warmed back up a little, then went cold and stayed cold. My husband reported the same from the men's side. I reported it to the office that day, but encountered the same thing again this 44° morning. Brrr!!! Update: Shower problem seems corrected this morning. I would have appreciated a phone call from management regarding the status of situation.

First Camping Trip!!!
So we recently purchased a 40ft fifth wheel and chose Cherry Hill CG for our first trip.
The park is:
Clean
Well laid out
Easy to find
Easy to pull your rig into
Easy to hook up and camp
Close to local stores and restaurants
Great place to hang out without having to leave with pool, splash park, and trails.
Only negatives are price although this is a premium campground and checkout seems early at 11AM. I would recommend and enjoyed staying in the park!

Can't beat the location to DC. 10 minute drive to train station and then right to the National Archives. Park is very clean and well maintained. Staff was nice and helpful. Prices for souvenirs ( postcards,mugs,t-shirts) were cheaper in their store then in DC itself. Noise from freeways was consistent but trying to find a quiet place around the city is impossible. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Park
Park was amazing. We traveled with a friend and stayed in 925 & 923 which are located across from the pool and the cafe. We were here early June 2018. I was shocked that we had the splash pad to ourselves! We went twice with our toddler on Saturday, 10-11:30ish and 3:30-5. There are a lot of campers but it did we never noticed crowds. I would prefer more space from my neighbors but since we were traveling with a friend right next door it was plenty of space for us.
The sites are nicely kept up. The gravel was level, grill was spotless and the added bonus of not only a picnic table but also a round iron table with (3) spring loaded chairs.
I am a big fan of Castaways in Ocean City MD but After our stay at Cherry Hill Park. I would choose Cherry Hill. It is far better kept up, cleaner, and the staff are friendlier.

Sad that one thing can drag a review down severely. Everything was great till my children and grandchildren came to visit us at the park. Now, aside from the roar of the interstate that was close enough to read the names on the trucks as they go by, the park was nice and well kept. At $83 dollars a nite, the price was a little steep. When my kids called and said the park was charging $5 per each family member, I was appalled. I get that amenities cost money, but $40 to have my kids come to my rv for lunch on thier way to the airport was absurd. I will not stay here again.

Very Nice...
This is what high end camping looks like. Nothing bad to say. As an aside, if you need that hose clamp or valve or fitting for an obscure plumbing issue she probably has it on the shelf. Along with a nice local wine selection...

Expensive But Handy Location
Obviously this is the closest one can get to D.C. We have friends in the area and this is the only convenient location to have fast access to them. I think most people would give this 3.5 to 4 stars given the high expense but considering the location it's understandable. There are lots of activities. They have many full-timers but not the type who live in something that hasn't been a moving RV since the Nixon administration. They are very organized and nice with a very well-maintained park. There's basically no reason not to stay here. Fairly heavily treed.
Reply from owner/manager: Thanks for staying with us! We're happy to hear we offered you a convenient and enjoyable experience :)

Loved It! Perfect Place!
Loved this place. Awesome amenities! Pool, playground, cafe/restaurant, sauna, mini golf etc. Store has everything from food, camping supplies, to souvenirs. Bus stop is right at the campground that takes you to the train/subway right into DC. They even have overflow parking so if you checkout and are still spending the day in the city, you can park your RV there for the day. Great place!!
