Sites are mostly level and mostly gravel. Mine was mostly dirt and when it rained it was a mess.
Overall, it seems to be a well run CG but it's looking a little run down. But, everything that needed to work did.
The Wifi is not free, $7.95/day, but works well
There is no cable and very few OTA stations.
The view of Penobscot Bay was about a quarter mile walk from my site.
Cell signal, US Cellular, was one bar or no bars.

Lovely
The only reason not giving 5 stars is because of large rocks in site. I know they'd be difficult to remove but the nurse in me worries about the trip hazard.
Otherwise this is a great home base for exploring the area. The walk to the seaside area is worth it. A little steep. For those with joint / heart issues - just take your time. Beautiful sunrises!
If you enjoy great dood and breweries be sure and check out Friars Brewhouse in Bucksport. BUSY - be sure and check their hours.

NEEDS WORK
Arriving 9/10/21 for 3 nights; the area got about 2" of rain the night prior.
Site 27 that we had is at the lower end (that gets all the run off). The entire lower section was all mud (& all shaded).
We ended up leaving after the first night forfeiting the next two nights (and headed to Searsport).
The weather can not be controlled; but the facility is in need of road maintenance throughout their campground. Several pot holes and standing mud can be fixed with road mix/gravel.
This was also the first RV Park we've experienced that charges their guests to dump ($10).
After a rainfall, book for a higher ground site.
We're not the complaining type; but this place needs infrastructure investment (NEEDS WORK).

Absolutely gorgeous campground right on the coast. Spots were big and shady. Lovely area to relax right on the water. Could not have been happier.

Gorgeous
We camped from the Northern part of Maine to the Southern part and by far one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Staff was soo friendly!
My only issue was you had to pay for a shower at the bath house! That should be included in the cost.

Retired.
Our third stay at this campground mostly because there aren't a lot of other choices. It is hilly, rutted and the spots are not level. Cable no longer functioning. wifi is extra charge. They are friendly but not especially accommodating.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice viewing area of ocean. 3 star rating because not as big rig friendly as they feel they are. Tried 2 back in sites that would not work due to trees on either side of entrance. Had to back out of pull thru due to trees as did the Class A next to us. We have 33 ft fiver.

Very Friendly
We stayed 1 night while heading north than 1 night again as we headed south. Very friendly. Nice pool. Beautiful picnic area by the water. Right off the highway but still feels secluded.

Awesome
Right on the water. Lobster bakes on Saturday. Came for a few days and stayed 2 weeks. Great owners and camp hosts. This is the place to stay on coastal Maine

Location Location Location
What a hidden gem with amazing potential. Our beautiful hook-up location among the trees was only 190 yards from the ocean. Great restrooms, very clean. Laundry room was clean and available but we did not use. Scott and Catherine were so friendly, professional and accommodating to our many questions. We will definitely be back in the future. Thanks
