Excellent Campground
There clearly have been major investments in upgrading this park since the earlier reviews - New buildings, new asphalt and gravel, good electrical service and the best Wi-fi we have found anywhere. Highly recommended.

Sites muddy and when it rains loads of puddles. We didn’t have sewer and dump station is uneven and tight. You can’t keep your dog in your RV while you are gone, and our dog is 15 years old, so couldn’t take her hiking due to her age. Showers are .50 cents for 7 minutes if you don’t have a shower in your camper.

Hadley Point Campground
Hadley Point Campground is a nice place to stay the people are very friendly but the owner is not so friendly we got to the campground hooked everything up turned on my a/c my electric hot water heater and we lost power. So I went outside to see if the breaker tripped and it did not, I noticed the other campers were at there breaker to so we called the office and they came down to fix it they turned the power back on and asked who has an electric hot water heater and I said I did, he then said I can't use it it takes to much power. So I said I've been camping a long time and I've never had this problem anywhere else. He then got mad and said he would put a power meter on my rig to show me I'm using to much. So I just went in my camper and went to bed. The power couldn't handle the loop we were on it kept tripping the main panel you could only run one thing at a time! It was very aggravating! I know I was not using too much power for my site because my breaker never tripped once!

Bar Harbor Resort
Campground is decent! It is close to Acadia National Park. Could use some updates, but staff was super friendly.

Great location.
Very nice campground with a great laundry mat. The people here were great to deal with. This was a great base camp for us as we explored the whole island including Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, and Acadia National Park. There were 2 restaurants nearby that were perfect. One had log cabin in its name in the other 1 was called Mainly meats barbecue

Best Place On The Island
We camp at HPC every year, sometimes more then once. We have become friends with the owners, they are great hosts. The campground is 6 miles from Acadia Natl park as prob 10 miles from downtown Bar Harbor. The little private beach that not many know about is great to cool off and watch beautiful sunsets. WiFi was upgraded just recently (June 2019). There staff keeps the place immaculate. They also have cabins if renting or RV’ing isn’t your thing. They are dog friendly. They are on the bus loop that is sponsored by LLBEAN @ bo cost. Can’t get enough of this place.

Micro Mini Winni
Lovely campground with wooded or shaded sites. Open areas, kid and pet friendly. Staff very helpful. Don't mind paid showers due to very reasonable fee! Would definitely return. WiFi not working.

Great Staff And Clean Restrooms
The staff was helpful, informative, and friendly. Restrooms were very nice. Washing machine was $3.50/load. Campground is located near a public beach with a beautiful view of the sunset. Go eat at Smokey’s on the mainland. GREAT BBQ!

Great Spot Close To Acadia Entrance
The good: the bathrooms are clean and very well kept, the bathrooms are separate from the shower houses that are gender specific, metered stall rooms on the back of the laundry . The showers were also well kept. The spots are level and the people were great. The laundry is open 24/7, washers were 3.50 a load and dryers were 50 cents for 6 minutes , they were hot and fast though. The improvements: the WiFi is pretty well non existent , our sight was so sunny that by 730 in the morning , our camper felt like an oven . I guess we could have asked to move to a spot with shade, but that’s such a hassle once set up.

Pretty Good
Paid showers are ridiculous. All other services were good. The lobster and crab place that delivers would bring me back. Two lobsters, two crabs and two ears of corn for $40.

Quiet & Convenient
Stayed in quiet section of wooded area. Good space with small fire pit and picnic table. $12 dump fee because it's on an island. A steep graded walk down the main road to the beach for a sunset nearly like the one found on the brochure. Would stay here again.

Nice Site, Easy Access To Bar Harbor
Nice campsites, free shuttle into Bar Harbor, with connections to free buses into Acadia National park. Do not drive into Bar Harbor if you can avoid it. Whale watching was excellent. There is a place nearby that delivers a full lobster dinner plus mussels and corn for a reasonable price ($32 today). Only complaint is paying 50 cents for a 7 minute shower.
