Needs Work
This could be a nice little campground but needs work. The bathrooms need major repair beside being cleaned, they are discussing. To dump your trash is all the way to the front entrance. Unless your one of the full time residents, you don't have a golf cart to haul it up.

Late Night Stop!!!
We needed to stop for the night and called Still Waters. We got the voicemail and left a message. We received a call back almost immediately and the owner was so very nice! We told him it would be a late arrival and he said to call his cell anyway and he would meet us at the office door! He told us that he would be out hanging out and enjoying time with campers and that it would be fine that we would be in late! The owner was awesome! He had us follow him to the site and we got all set up! It was a beautiful place and very quiet! We will be back and stay! Thanks for letting roll in late!!!

Nice Campground/ Owners Staff
Stayed there and camped for a few years. The owners are so nice, staff helpful, everyone was friendly camping. Beautiful area. Great for fishing, kayaking, camping, swimming and tubing in the creek. They have long term, short term, the bathrooms were clean, just a nice little place along North Elkhorn Creek. The family who own this were awesome. Mr. Strohmeier and his wife, family and staff were very helpful and friendly. So were the permanent campers. Would definitely return. There are wildlife management areas to hunt close by during hunting season and visit the fish hatchery for a walk. Frankfort downtown has the Dr. Thomas Clark museum, neat painted murals along the river, cute shops, and is quaint down to earth. It's a down to earth campground with good people. Check it out.
