Location Great For Big South Fork Activi
We were here in May, 2022 for a trail race. The sites are reasonably spaced, water and electric. The bathrooms were dated but in clean and in good working order. The sites can probably handle rigs up to 30 foot (ours only 19) but the road here is very hilly and curvy. Drive with caution!

I think spots 7, 12, and 13 are the best because they overlook the beautiful pond with lily pads and dragonflies. Otherwise, all of the trees are mature and provide plenty of shade. There are picnic tables fire rings and light poles and plenty of space between each lot in my opinion. The spots aren’t full hook ups but provide water and electric with a nearby dump station on site. There are also showers and toilets.

Nice Park
Our site was very spacious and fairly level. The bullfrogs serenaded us in the evening from the pond behind our site. It was nice and quiet and very affordable at $20 for electric and water. It is in a dry county so if you like alcohol you will need to plan accordingly. A little off the beaten path. Signage to the park was a little lacking, but Waze got us there with no problems. It is in black bear country so you need to act accordingly.

Great Place To Camp
One of the nicest National Park campgrounds we've stayed in. You are about 9 miles out of any town, but the sites are nice with plenty of space. Everything kept clean. Has electric and water hookups (most National Park campgrounds do not) and is a beautiful place. Hiking, relaxing, bike riding. Small playground for kids. Can drive short distance to old mining camp maintained by Park Service (free). Or can take a ride on the Big South Fork Scenic Railway to the mining camp. The hike to Yahoo Falls is short and easy. Just a great place to stay.

Beautiful campground with all amenities. Large clean bathroom and shower house. Great that you are allowed to collect fallen wood for fires. Make sure you do the Blue Heron Loop hike!
