Perfect Little Park For Overnights!

Very conveniently off I-35, yet out of view with trees and a little hill. It’s small but very well kept and pretty. We stopped overnight on a Sunday and were having major electrical problems, to the point that we thought we might be stranded until we could get a mobile tech to come help us. Amber, the host/owner? was extremely understanding and helpful. She told us we could stay as long as needed, gave us contact info for area mobile rv services, and even gave us a handful of quarters so we could use the showers (hot water heater was one of the things not working). Yes, showers are coin-op, but very clean and nice! Didn’t use the laundry, but again very clean and nice. As it turned out, we were able to get things working enough to keep traveling the next morning. But we are so very grateful to Amber for her kindness and Homewood RV now has a top spot on our favorites list for overnight waypoints as we travel. Thanks again, Amber! Job well done!

Good for overnight easy off freeway entr

Full hook-up. No much front yard on pull-throughs hence good for overnight. Reserved online. Easy online check in. If you can't sleep through highway noise, bring the earplugs. It goes on throughout the night.

Great stopover , excellent price and the bag of popcorn a pleasant surprise. Gina and her girls are so cute. Propane fill on site is a plus! Will stay again.

Nice Place For An Overnight

Stopped for 1 night. People were very pleasant, bag of popcorn was nice! Bathroom was clean as was the shower. Spots were large and most are pull through, no issues with anything, wifi worked well. The only downfall was some noise from the highway as it is quite close. We would definitely stay again!

Awesome campground, needed a spot last minute, had a nice pull through spot. Meet us after hours and gave us some popcorn to settle down with. Water pressure is great!! Will stop there next year on our way to Texas!

Deserves 10 Stars

Don't be fooled, this unassuming hidden gem is worth stopping in at! From the gracious bag of popcorn at check in, to the upbeat always smiling clerk, to the AMAZING scenery and nearly perfectly level spots this place is definitely worth the stop. But bring cash as they don't take credit cards, that is the ONLY negative I experienced here.

We stayed overnight. Called ahead for Reservations, person on the phone was very nice gave directions, or site was reserved. Had envelopes top pay in Cash or Checks only. Restrooms very clean. Nicely groomed Park. Only problem is if you are planning to stay hooked up like we did, the sites are not level front to rear. Otherwise nice park and will stay here again.

Just Perfect

After driving all day, it was so nice to pull into this lovely campground. Our site was very long and we were able to stay hitched up. The view out our window was beautiful. Very quiet. Friendly and helpful managers.
