Very Nice Park
We did a quick Thur-Mon weekend to check out the local biking trails. This was a wonderful park. We were within short driving distance to area trails in addition to the trails within this park. We stayed in the newer Woodside area and it was wonderful. It's only about a year old as of this review so trees are young and no shade at this time. In a few years this will be another lovely spot for shaded camping like so many others. Woodside is all concrete paved spots and full hookups. We would stay here again!

Exceeded Expectations
We camped at Bald Eagle which is a full service campground within Scott Cty Park. Large grassy sites with paved level double wide pads and concrete patios makes for clean camping even in the rain. Restrooms were large, modern, and the cleanest of any campground I’ve visited. Bald Eagle also has its own playground for kids and the roads around the campground are paved which is nice for bike riding. Wooded hiking trails connect the campground to the parks many other amenities including lakes, swimming pool, picnic shelters, other playgrounds, volleyball/basketball courts, golf course and a pioneer village. Plan to bring 30-50 ft of hose to reach the water source on some sites.

Choose Your Campground
There are several different campgrounds inside this huge park! Some full service, some water/electric, electric only and dry camping. Nice pool, fishing lakes and tons and tons of hiking!! Beautiful woods hiking. There is also mountain bike trails and horse trails and horse campgrounds too. I plan on coming back for sure.
