Great Time.
This is a nice little campground. Connects to the Great River Trail right at the entrance. The spots were level, neighbors were not too close. I have spent a lot more money per night with sites that we're so close you thought you were in the neighbors camper. These sites were okay. They only have electric at the sights, there is a little train that goes through three or four times a day. They blow the whistle because there's no gates at the park entrance. All in all I can't complain about the train I thought it was cool. The showers were slightly outdated and abit of a cleaning but over all not in bad shape.and where else can you go for 10 or $20 a night with such a great View and such a great bicycle Trail. The hot water for the showers took a little getting used to , just keep pushing the button and that water will get hot and you will enjoy your shower ! We stayed in a motorhome in spot 35. See you next year

What We Like
Right next to the river with mostly paved and level sites. Some sites are gravel. A few looked like 35' would be the max. The train runs behind the park but very few so for us no problem. 2 Sewer dumps so you don't have to wait long to leave. COE's are what we like so it is only $10/night with Sr. Pass.

Part-timers
Retired couple who prefer COE parks when we can find them. My first review ever. Very much below what I typically find at COE. Very dirty bathroom. Only cool/lukewarm shower. Five star for the park, one star for the care.

Very friendly and accommodating camp hosts even to our dog and children. This campground had a manicured park like feel despite some recent flooding they had. We planned to stay 1 night, but we ran into electrical issues with our camper and ended up staying 4 nights. We had amazing sites right on the river with incredible sunsets and barge traffic to watch. The showers and bath facilities were clean and the water temp in the showers was very nice. By the time we left, we felt like family and will be sure to come back if ever in the area. If you have a golden passport, be sure to use it for a discount on your stay.
