The Flying Dutchman
Super clean park. Large electric sites, but no full hookups. Clean bathrooms. Large playground. It is a beautiful area with lots of deer running around. Enjoyed staying here on our way up north. Will probably stay here again if we end up in this area in the future.

Stayed in Campground #1. Sites are electric only. The shower house is a long ways a way, especially on cold mornings. The shower house was fairly clean, have seen better seen worse. Stayed here two weeks while visiting family. Safe. Grocery store within 5 miles. Fairly close to Ankeny, Des Moines, and some small towns. Would stay again. $20 a night

Clean
Stayed in campground #1. Clean & well kept used electricity only. Easy access if your on 141 take street 121 it dead ends at golf course take right to go to camping areas. Grab map on way to site Incase there is construction and entrances are closed.
Lots to do in the park. I golfed 9 holes with cart shared with friend for $30. Check their web site for tee times. It is busy & crowded with golfers waiting mid fairway so make sure your game is on or you may feel rushed.

The Dude
Excellent campground. There's a limit of 14 consecutive night's stay. The bison / elk wildlife preserve is awesome. Lots of wildlife. Lots of deer.
