Good Place To Stay
Very friendly staff, new ownership recently. They are onsite available to answer all our questions without hesitation. Quiet - yes a lot of contractors but not noisy other than typical truck noise. Sites are tight and not much room in between which is why I did not give 5 stars. It is an older campground but clean and all gravel sites. We had some heavy rain while there and the gravel was nice so it wasn’t muddy. Shower houses are an older style but clean and well maintained. Warm water. Laundry on-site as well. Two fishing areas right close and plenty of places to walk dogs. Close to several eating places, a camper dealership/repair and Walmart/Target within a few miles. About 15 min to Louisville and right near the interstate but the traffic noise was not bad. Well lit sign by the road if coming in at night and sites identified by good signage. However - check the route your map app uses to get you to the campground. Go east off interstate instead of west directions

Too expensive $48 for such a place. Sandy ite very tight. Use as only a last resort. Also inconvenient to access.

Convenient
This park was convenient for all things Louisville. However, it’s very tight spaces.

Ok To Overnight
Wonderful staff. Ok place to overnight on your way thru. Many semi-permanent rigs with peope working here so a lot of early morning traffic. Tight but manageable gravel sites.

Convenient
Convenient location for University of Louisville sports and activities. Long narrow lots without a table and not much shade. Seemed to be a work camp. Very noisy when everyone was leaving for work. Bath house needed work. Friendly Staff. Bring cash!

For the price I expected more than narrow spaces crammed in a gravel and weed covered lot. No picnic tables. Didn’t check out the bathhouse. Excellent WiFi. Might be ok for long term stays, but I just wasn’t impressed. The staff were very friendly. Directed us to our site. Cash or checks only.

Do not stop if traveling through. Not an over night park. Permanents. Couldn't get into site they assigned, had to move one over. Then our slides would hardly fit and had to almost step over neighbors sewer to go out door. Only saving grace, quiet till morning when everyone left for work. Easy enough to get to.
