Great stay!

Our family of 5 had a great time this weekend here. Reminds you of summer vacation as a kid. Place really caters to people and memories for families. Great pond to swim and play with the kids. Awesome lodge. Overall do a great job here. Setup is better for a weekend as lodge is only open on weekends and we really enjoyed that aspect for games, snacks, and ice cream.

Just stayed for a weekend and enjoyed with my wife and 3 kids. Beach is great! Snack bar has very reasonable prices and a decent selection of food/items. Compared to 10 years ago, I give it a strong B+. Shower house is dated and not the cleanest I’ve been in. There was no noise enforcement with people parting and loud music until past 3am. There’s a mini outdoor theater that they host events at. Pretty cool. We’re coming back in 2 weeks so their doing something right. Big thanks to Donna who helped make our reservations. Very nice!!!

This campground is among the best in Illinois with a great lake for swimming, basketball court, stage for events, lodge serving meals and snacks. Only drawback is train noise. Great for seasonal and weekenders.

Perfect

One of my favorite places to stay from the 2016 camping season. The swimming lake is amazing with a well groomed white sand beach. A newly built lodge had good food and the kids enjoyed the ice cream. The sites are a little smaller than other campgrounds we stayed at and the trains are a little loud. We found it funny and laughed about it. The manager Virgil is a great guy and made sure our stay was enjoyable. I look forward to going back next year!
