Nice Place!
Nice place to boondock! The trails are well kept, as are park grounds. Loads of wild life and walking distance to Old Nauvoo. Only 30 amp electric. Potable water at dump station.

Lots of Wildlife
We stayed at a little spot on the South side and watched deer, turkey and hundreds of birds feeding on dragon flies in the field nearby. The area was shady and clean. We were able to walk to the historic sites. It was quiet.

Beautiful Place
We had a nice time. The staff helped us find a better site near the bath house that over looked the State Park. The park and bath house were kept clean.
The top of the hill wooded area was a bit of a parking lot with minimum spaces. Also it had a vault toilet with no sink or running water. OK if you are fully self contained.
Very quiet town, we could hear the trains across the Mississippi River.
