Nice Park
We only stayed here one night as we were traveling through Illinois. We stayed in the Lakeside area. The sites were a little tight, but we managed with our class C. Easy access to I-70. We would stay here again.

Nice Park
We like this park a lot. We stayed in Lakeside campground. The drive is a little tight , but there are several nice, level spots. Nice lake, great bluegill and red ear fishing. The campground is clean and well kept, friendly staff. We will definitely keep camping here in the future. Would be 5 stars if it had water at every sight.

CrossCountry Travelers w/Grandkids
We arrived yesterday and had no reservations. The host Dennis & Jill Edwards were very accommodating and let us drive and choose our tent spot. The park is very beautiful, lots trees & grass area. Great place for family, our grandsons rode their bikes & played on playground. The views are spectacular and need to mention bathroom/shower very clean. Thank you Dennis & Jill for welcoming us.

Nice Park
We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. We were in the Lakeside campground and I must say it was very tight getting our A-frame maneuvered around the tight turns and into our reserved spot. There were larger rigs there but I honestly don't know how they did it. The Parkside campground next door was much more suitable for larger rigs. Also, there is only one bathhouse to serve both campgrounds and its located in the Parkside campground. There are pit toilets scattered throughout. As for the park as a whole, it is beautiful. We saw several deer, a wide variety of birds and the squirrels and chipmunks kept me laughing. The lake is beautiful. The camp host are very friendly and helpful.

Very Nice Quite Campground
We had the loop to ourselves in the middle of the week. Passing through. Nice fairly level sites with electricity. Water available at faucets. Nicely kept sites. Host on the ball with reserved sites clearly mark for what days. Be careful. Google routed us to Fox road which was closed and looked to be soft gravel anyway. Circled around the city of Marshall and went in the east entrance.

Nice Clean Park
The staff at this park were very welcoming. Since we didn’t have a reservation; the park attendant helped me pick out a site that I could easily back into. This is a “big rig” friendly campground with wide open sites and easy to navigate roads. The roads leading into the park were well maintained. While not private, there was plenty of space between the sites to be comfortable. The sites were long enough to park a 40 foot motorhome and still leave enough room to park a car in front. I camped in August of 2017.

Retirement trip
Our recent time at Lincoln state park has mixed reviews. The park is beautiful with lots of campground sites. We were in a 38' tag along travel trailer. The restaurant in the park was a pleasant surprise and the food was good. The reason I'm not giving the campground more stars is because when we stayed, the lots were being resurfaced. It was noisy with all the equipment being used plus the material that was being used was like cat litter!! Our lot had already been resurfaced and it was crumbling under our tires and feet! We tracked lots of the stuff in the trailer all over the rugs and floors no matter how careful we were trying to be. It was one huge mess!! The state of Illinois must have lots of tax payer money to waste on worthless "improvements" This stuff will not last, makes a huge mess, and will have to be replaced by the end of summer! If it weren't for the noise and junk material, I would rate much higher. The other caution is that after rain, this campground is marsh like..

A Favorite!
Love this park!! Great location! Beautiful park! Roomy sites, nice shower houses & private family shower houses, which are great when camping with smaller children! Even if you don't camp here, check out the gift shop and restaurant!
