Great Spot

Very nice city owned park. Has a nice lake with 2.25 mile hiking trail around it. Ducks, geese, heron and egret on lake. Fishing ok. Nicely spaced sites. No sewer access. Sites share water access and can require extra length of hose.

Nice camp grounds very friendly staff. Got a camp sight with no need to unhook. Would come back here when travelling.

Really Nice

We called the day we needed the reservation, no problem. We spoke with Danny, and because my husband is 65 and a vet, the rate was $12. The place is so nice, fairly full, but plenty of room. We explained we were only staying one night and didn't really want to have to unhook, again no problem. He gave us a very large spot, showed us right to it at 7 pm. Has electric and water hook ups and there is dumping on the way out. So pretty to sit outside. No cable, but decent tv, and no real wi-fi. Didn't matter, would stay again in a minute !!!

We really enjoyed this park by a lovely Lake. The people are very friendly and we also enjoyed the cafe in town that they recommended. This makes a great stop. We visited with people in the old Cafe and some of the townspeople. It was fun for both of us. We will be back.

Nice little park,friendly staff,good fishing,gravel trail around entire lake approx 2 miles.stayed two nights $12 per, military discount. Will be a regular customer.
