Great Water Wildlife
We watch the pelicans gather in the fall. Not much for hiking trails (use the bike trail) but great scenery nonetheless.

Stayed here over holiday weekend. Large sites with FHU, mostly shaded. Did not use public bathroom so cannot comment on condition or if open. Location is very near 10’ wide concrete bike path.
Had to make reservations well in advance to secure FHU site.
Drawback most sites although paved are NOT very level. Make sure you bring plenty of boards etc to level your rig.
Stayed here in 34’ MH

Really Nice And Clean
Great campgrounds, close to town, lake front sites, huge sites but the tiny pee gravel on the patios is a nightmare to keep out of your campers.

Love It. One of my Favs
Like all Coe campgrounds it is well laid out. Mostly paved level campsites. Not sure where the 25ft max came from in the description. I am in a 5th wheel surrounded by the same and class A's. There is actually an entire loop of unreserveable sites. I'm in one because I forgot Monday is Columbo's Day. The North campgrounds has a couple of the same. It's full here on 10/6 but there is a reason. Great area with lots to do!

Nice Place
Clean, well maintained bathrooms and showers. Electric and water hookup, sites fairly spaced, I was the only one in my loop since it was before Memorial Day. Rend Lake is beautiful, the town of Benton is not far away for food, supplies etc. COE does a great job.

Don't waste your time unless you have a reservation to many reservable spots.
