It looks like a nice place to stay but we did not stay. We came here to get showers. $4 per shower and they were hot with good pressure. Staff was nice to deal with.

Navigation Error
I want to echo Darlene's note that the navigation in this app is wrong. Make sure you use Google maps instead. A for the place itself, they have a 2 nite fall deal which is fairly reasonable at about $48/ nite, but single nites were a bit pricey at $63. Mostly quiet if you've got a spot farther away from the highway. Spots generally level and big - lots of big 5th wheels there. Sewer connections are several inches above ground. Very treed Spots. Bathrooms generally clean, though a little dated, good hot water. Friendly folks.

Navigation Is Wrong
Don't use navigation instructions with this app it sends you by the Buffalo campground at the opposite end of Island Park. Google maps will send you to the Sawtelle RV location.

Good Campground Great Location
Nice campground. RV and tent sites available. Reasonable rates. Full hookups. Friendly staff. Lots of trees and fire pits. Clean showers. Only drawback is pool was cloudy - too many children jumping in dusty from trail rides. Walking distance to a few restaurants and an outdoor adventure store that rents ATVs and snowmobiles (lots of trails in Targhee National Forest).

We had a reservation for two nights. Arrived for first night and there was so much construction going on we almost couldn’t find the check in place. Got to our sight and couldn’t get motor home level. The sights are not even CLOSE to being flat. Called to see if we could switch sites but was told they were sold out. She would send the camp hosts over to see if they could help. They pulled up about 15 minutes later and we were told everyone else makes it work and didn’t have anything else to offer for help. Completely RUDE and unapologetic. Sights are about 6 feet away from each other and there is one (very dirty) bathroom with two toilets and two showers for the entire campground to use. Decided we would make the best of it and stayed thinking we could swim in the pool on Saturday. Found out that afternoon pool was closed for maintenance. We left early and ate the cost of the second night. Will NEVER camp here again. “Resort” it is NOT!!!!!

Misleading
The campground itself is beautiful. Covered in big pine trees with large spaces between campers. The staff is friendly and as helpful as they can be, but that's about where it ends.
The power has significant issues with voltage. My power filter shut down power to my camper several times because of low voltage.
The wifi is unreliable. There is a free option that kicks you off after 500 megabits of data. I tried signing up for the paid service that has higher bandwidth and no data cap. It doesn't work.
Finally, the restrooms and showers are completely unacceptable. This facility has 100 camp sites. There is a single shower house for all of the sites with 2 toilets and 2 showers. The line to use the men's bathroom was 6 people long. The women's bathroom was infested with flies and ran out of toilet paper and paper towels.
This campground markets its self as a "resort." It is far from it.

Spent a week here. Would again as well. Nice clean quiet campground with friendly staff. Free WiFi slow and only good for 6 hours. Can purchase faster for $5/24 hours. No cable or tv reception here. Nice restaurant/bar across the street. Well stocked grocery also nearby. Gas there expensive, but much less in West Yellowstone only 20 minutes away near entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Rates are 1/2 the cost of other campgrounds only a few miles nearer the park entrance.

Overall not abad camp ground. The site that we got was gravel and uneven but it had lots of trees. The showers and bathrooms were well maintained and clean. Water pressure was a little low, and hot water was at a premium due to heavy usage by the other guest. Price was very reasonable compared to the camp grounds nearer to the Yellowstone Park entrance. I will stay here again if I'm in the area.
