Good For An Overnight

The place is well maintained and I agree that there is no shade, to speak of. Office staff was very friendly and not rude at all. There is no store or anything to do here. There is a gun club on the other side of the boundary wall and on Saturday you can hear gunfire all day. Some people are not responsible enough or just lazy to clean up after their dogs, even though there are cans available for that. No trash cans in the park so you have to walk outside the gates to throw your trash away.

Grossly Overrated

Office personnel said they were trained not to mention discounts (i.e. Good Sam Club). Restroom facilities locked from 10pm to 8 am- no exceptions! Rude caretaker, rude staff to point of being hostile. Beautiful club house is useless unless you are a member of the geriatric corps & intend to use it before 5pm! Locked up at 5pm. Property adjacent to a mosquito & fly breeding swamp. Also adjacent to a cattle farm (or mink farm) that stinks to high heaven. Also, located just off interstate -noisy at night, and occasionally a train will blow whistles in the middle of the night. Sites devoid of any shade whatsoever . It is a shame because the Facility is 4 years old and well maintained (probably because everything is locked up so early!)
