We enjoyed the park. No frills yet easy to downtown Savannah & Tybee Island. Barbara the owner was very helpful to answer any questions we had. Lots of area to walk dogs ( we have 3). We would definitely stay again

Terrible
I made reservations months in advance and then called late to add another day. Same as the previous reviewer, got put in the overflow lot, 40' from the highway.couldn't sleep, we left that morning and left a message with the owner. She never called back and of course charged us for both nights. Weak. No bathrooms, no picnic table, just barbed wire fence and lotsa traffic noise. We named it the Gulag. You'd be much better off in a Wall Mart parking lot, and have some extra cash in your pocket. One of the worst places I ever stayed ...

High Traffic!!
Staying there was like being in a barracks and being forced into submission by putting us along a four lane road that never slept from the bellowing trucks and other traffic. Our view was a barbed wire like fence that graced the roadway in front of us, and our area had not a trace of gardens, that the name implied. No cable, as the advertisement claims, and no other amenities of any kind, besides the dumpster that blocked the driveway entrance...
Reply from owner/manager: FORCED SUBMISSION,WOW??
FIRST, WE ONLY ADVERTISE WHAT IS OFFERED. (READ) ALL SITES HAVE FULL HOOKUPS EVEN THOSE IN THE OVERFLOW AREA. (EXCLUSIVE OF CABLE .YOUR ANTENNA PICKS UP JUST AS MANY CHANNELS) WE ENCOURAGE RV'ERS TO ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS OR READ YOUR CONFIRMATION THOROUGHLY. GUEST WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE AWAY FROM THE ROAD, WITH CABLE (TREES AND FLOWERS) MAKE THEIR RESERVATIONS WELL IN ADVANCE. THEY KNOW OUR AREA (WHICH IS MINUTES AWAY OF THE HISTORIC AREA) IS OVERLY BUSY THIS TIME OF YEAR.. THERE ARE TRADE OFFS TO BEING SO CLOSE TO HISTORIC SAVANNAH . I BET YOU WOULD BE THE FIRST TO COMPLAIN IF WE HAD NO FENCE. AT ALL. YOUR REVIEW WOULD SUGGEST WE DON'T TAKE STEPS TO INSURE YOUR SAFETY. WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER TRAFFIC, THIS IS LOCAL AND DOES QUITE DOWN AT NIGHT. AS FOR OUR DUMPSTER, IT DOES NOT BLOCK OUR DRIVEWAY THATS COMPLETELY FALSE. IT IS LOCATED CLOSE TO THE OFFICE SO IT CAN BE MONITORED. WE MAKE SURE IT'S ALWAYS IN A PRESENTABLE STATE.

Nice Park, but...
Nice park, easy trip into Savanah and surrounding site of interest.
However we were delayed arriving by 3 hours and park owner would not allow us to stay our first night - which was forfeited.
And to add to it, our site was in the owner’s backyard- 25’ from their back door - not in the park proper.
Make sure know where the site they assigned is located.

Barbara, the owner is so very helpful and knowledgeable. We had an issue with the rv and needed to stay longer for repairs. She was so kind to rearrange things so we could stay in same site until repairs were made. Thank you Barbara, you truly are a Georgia peach!

Small and simple. Close to downtown there is a limited shuttle w/old town trolley, public transportation out front.
No wifi head or showers. Quiet considering rte. 17 is right out front.

Fair Stay
As someone mentioned below, Biltmore Gardens is a no thrills campground. Although it’s easy to get in and out, the sites (when raining) are swampy and muddy. Very limited pet walk area. Our price was $54 a night. For a summertime stay it’s a much better place than most as it offers lots of shade, but for a fall/winter stay the tree cover blocks any warmth of the sun.
The folks that run the park are very nice and helpful, but again it’s no thrills.

No Frills Close To Town
Great host Barbara was super helpful and got us set up for trolley into town, restaurant, and activities. Our site was level with cement pad. The area could use an update, worked great for our needs. Really enjoyed seeing Savannah.

Nice Place
This is a nice place with beautiful trees and lots of shade. I can only echo the positive comments from previous posts, except to add that you can schedule a trolley tour from here and they pick you up and drop you off at the campground. Barbara and Russ are great hosts.

Small, quiet park. We were there for one night traveling thru. Less than 10 minutes to downtown. Barbara was extremely nice and helpful. Our site was gravel but without a patio. Will definitely stay here again.

Hidden Jewel
Great location, clean park with pretty level grass sites and concrete patios. Located in a not-so-busy part of Savannah, as this area is newly developing. Turn right out of park to MLK, go left and you end up at River Front. Turn right out of park and follow 17 and 80 and you go straight to beach. It's my new go-to park in Savannah. Barbara is as nice a person as you'll ever meet.

Close to Savannah
The campground is small but has shaded spots with full hook-ups. We were escorted to our spot by a very nice woman who allowed us to set-up first before checking in. She was very nice and accommodating. Cable is available but you need a cable box from the office. However, the antenna gets lots of channels so cable isn't necessary unless you're staying for a long time. Uber drivers are available. Great location to Savannah. The spots are dirt with concrete patios but are fairly level. The office is also an antique store which is cool but not in an air conditioner kind of way! Would stay again.
