Awesome Awesome Awesome
Stayed 3 nights. Everyone is super nice and very helpful. Staff on golf carts roaming property in case you need anything. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Very dog friendly. Dog parks near by. Made a reservation for a week coming up and can't wait to go back!

Not Bad. Not Bad At All
I would give it an A- overall. It is a nice campground. Restroom are generally clean and the water was hot in the shower. My site was a little steep but most are at least near level. Biggest comment would be that the sites are pretty close together but not too bad. Everything worked and the people were nice. We stayed seven nights and really enjoyed the island. A really neat place to visit.

Paradise
We loved it here. So beautiful, we stayed in the back of the park. Beautiful trees and landscaping, like a little paradise! Had all in amenities and more!!! Right away they told us of the parking around Tybee so we rented a golf cart and got around great! Alot of people in the campground had bikes, electric bikes and golf carts.

Wonderful!
We spent almost the entire month of December here and now with just two days left I'm going to be so sad to leave. The staff has been amazing, the grounds are beautiful, and the location can't be beat! Tybee Island is so quiet and low key, but just 20 minutes to downtown Savannah and all it has to offer. We've found some really good restaurants on the island, as well as shopping. And the beaches can't be beat! Take a chair and watch the boats and dolphins! We will be returning!

Love Rivers End And Tybee
If you get the chance to camp here, DO IT! Absolutely wonderful staff and beautiful area. Always greeted with a smile and willingness to just chat. I can’t say enough about this place. The entire island is just fantastic and the food is amazing. We stayed for 2 weeks in December and will most definitely be back.

3 Night Stay
Ok, I can’t say enough about this place. It was GREAT!!!!! All around we’ll most definitely be coming here again. We were in site 117 and loved it. It was off the beaten path with full hook ups. The staff were all super. We also rented a golf cart from Tybee Island Golf Carts. They were great as well. Everyone was absolutely nice, helpful, and courteous. Food- AJ’s, Sting Rays, and the Crab Shack. All were great, not overly priced, and very patient. Our Favorite thou was Crab Shack. Beautiful place to go with the whole family. The rest of the campground was packed but, still very easy negotiating the individual sites.

Had A Blast!
We had a wonderful time from start to finish at RiversEnd! Grounds were clean, we had a shaded, large site. Facilities were well kept. Rented a golf cart for the 4 days we were there...the beach is a little far to walk with 3 little kiddos. Nothing but great things to say about this place...already booked again for next year!

Love It
My family had a great time here. We stayed 4 nights in our RV. The spots you pull into are a little close together so like someone else said you don't have a ton of privacy but as long as you have good neighbors it's fine. They have a pool but no playground or anything else for the kids. The kids had lots of fun riding bikes around with the other kids. Bathrooms are nice and private. The bathroom by the main office looked like it was probably the oldest and the handicap stall always had a huge puddle in the floor in front of the shower. The bathroom on the other side was nicer and newer. It was at ground level so you didn't have to go up any steps and it was bigger than the ones by the office. Overall we loved it and would definitely go back. It's super close and convenient to get to the beach, lighthouse and restaurants and just a short drive to downtown Savannah.

Fun Beach Trip
Our family stayed 2 nights in july. The location is great with a short walk to the lighthouse and north beach entrance. The staff is friendly with clean laundry facilities. The sites have full hook up with picnic table and fire ring. The pool was large and clean. I have given 4 stars bc the sites were very close together without any privacy. It was hard for my husband to navigate the rv into our spot. Luckily, the other campers were super friendly.

Nice Place!
We spent 5 days at this location. Great base camp for travel to Savannah and Hilton Head, plus the fun of the island itself. Not much room at our campsite, tho. Pretty close quarters. The staff was very friendly.

Just Ok
We spent several nights here. Expensive. Quite a walk to the beach. Mosquitoes and other biting creatures not fun. Coffee is $1.50 from a vending machine. We won't be back. There are better beach values.

Our first Long-term campground
Overall, our experience at the campground was good. Check-in was quick and we were escorted to our site. Our site was clean and looked nice. The only complaint was that a tree kept us from extending our awning all the way, it only had room to come out 50%. There was still plenty of shade though so this wasn’t a huge issue. We did not use any of the bath houses, so I cannot comment on those. We chose to use our RV bathroom instead for convenience. The campground was also quiet at night. We rented a golf cart to cruise the island which was nice. The company dropped it off and picked it up at the campground. The campsites are smaller than most campgrounds but we spent most of our time visiting the island and Savannah so we didn’t mind.

RIVERSEND Campground
Excellent basecamp for our family vacation. We camped in our popup on site 69 which was pull-through, very spacious and close to the bathhouse. The campground overall was in excellent condition. The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife is very particular when it comes to the conditions of the bathhouses and these were excellent. The ones closest to our camp site were individual stalls with a toilet, sink and shower per each stall, four stalls total. The campground is just a 10min walk to the beach or a short drive with $2/hr paid parking. We walked to the beach off of Polk Street and enjoyed it much more as compared to mid beach off of 9th street that we paid to park at.

I have stayed in this campground 2 times and planning another. Beautiful parks, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The staff is friendly and keep the campground in tip top shape. The dog park is very convent, clean and convent. It has a beautiful pool, nice laundry and bath houses. I have not stayed in the cabins because I have an RV but the area is shady and relaxing. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Amazing campground with amazing people.

Passing Through
Three night stay on Site #35 = $213.30. Very nice stay & great beach & pool time. We drove around town but didn’t stop, as Everywhere is pay $2.00 each hour to park. The campground offered a 2 day parking pass for $25. We opted out on that offer. The campground is clean & staff was friendly.

Absolutely will be back. Nice walk to the beach. Great beach combing. I found some awesome shells. Went to Savannah and loved the history from the Old Trolley Tour. We had an excellent site and will be sure to request it when we return. Lots of room. Quiet and clean. We loved it. Thank you to all the friendly staff.

Close enough to visit Savannah, yet away from the noise and lights. I bit of a walk to the beach, but not a problem. It is almost all gravel, with few green spaces. And the spots can be a bit tight. I will come back.

As Expected
This is a city run park on a tourist island. Expect smaller spots and close neighbors. It’s always busy. We used it as a place to sleep and eat. Wonderful pool. Nice staff. Beach is a comfortable walk away. 50 amp service was wonderful.

Very Nice
Found this park was very nice and very easy to find, staff was very friendly no helpful. Yes you do have to walk to the beach but i never seen on there that it was on a beach also if you rent a golf cart you have all access to multiple beaches. Would recommend this park and as well as the golf cart rental its well worth it since you can use it all over the island. Yes the sites are small but i no issues with gettin and out also had no issues with the rock sites as we found it nicer for drainage instead of mud. Very beautiful island and planning a trip back. We pulled our popup 10.5 hours to see this area and loved it.

No Value Here.
Be prepared to walk quarter mile plus to get to the Beach. Park is very crowded and every inch seemed to be planned for revenue. Found no place to lay on green grass and stretch. Pebble rocks are not flat rolled and so a lot of slipping chairs, benches, steps. Took two falls because of loose rocks. Half size picnic tables will flip when both parties sit on same side. Each day of our stay was recovering from scraps and bruises. Management was good enough to get us a spot for second day if we were prepared to move. Truly feel the price is 2times the value. Will not return,

Great Improvements
We have been going there for several years & they have made much needed upgrades to the park. Paved roads, replaced & added more signs, also improved the tent area. We would like to see the bath & showering areas upgraded. We come every year & don't mind paying more for a better park.

Love this RV Park. It's beautiful, lots of trees. Very clean. Nice big pool. Great laundry facility. Great staff. Good sized lots. We had a pull thru. Two dog runs within walking distance. Good size runs. Very close to the beach. A little tight for big rigs to maneuver though park, but is doable. Would defiantly recommend.
