Beautiful Spot
High falls was a lovely campground. Very authentic with camp fires, nice big spaces, bit unlevel but doable. Walking and biking were super nice. Fall leaves spectacular. Park rangers keeping everyone safe; very pleasant. Our 33’ class c fit fine into the back in space. Acorns occasionally bomb the roof. And a huge tree fell somewhere in the park last night. Only stayed one night on our way north. Recommend it. Senior discount for Georgia state park.

Beautiful Large State Park.
Large grass areas. Maybe not much to do otherwise. Building a new playground. So that will be nice. Wouldn't probably stay longer than a day or so. On the expensive side for a state park.

Ok
We stayed her a few times. It has the campfire smell all over, woodsy look. It was fun for the kids when we were there during spring break and there were many other kids to play with. But, the downside is there is no cable, wifi, or good cell signal.. so if it’s raining, you don’t have anything to do. If (big if) I ever stop there again, I’ll bring the wii or play station as backup for the kids. I will also have to do any online work before arriving because there’s no ATT signal or wifi. I hated that the tv antenna only picked up a shopping channel..they also charge you another $5 the day you arrive for parking.

Good Overnight Stay
Spent the night here while heading north from Tampa in 2017. It was conveniently located along my route. Seemed like a pretty nice little state park, though I would have liked to have explored it more.

Great Weekend
The hiking trail was nice and the bath houses were clean. There is not a lot going on in High Falls, but there were no bugs and there are a couple of nature sites within a short driving distance.
