Great Winter Stay
We visited after a lot of rain, the dam and falls were flowing. The staff was very nice and helpful. This was our first time visiting. Just a short hike along the riverside to see the highest falls south of Atlanta. Great visit. Shower / restrooms clean. They had a winter special when we visited, half off. Highly recommended camping location

Nice State Park
We stayed here three nights in #111. A very nice site with great shade. All the sites on the lake side are nice. There are aprox 20. All have 30 amp electricity and water. The river side has some with full hookup sites and with 50 amp electric hookups. This campground is quiet and clean. Bathrooms are older, but clean. There is one washer and dryer available. The camp host is friendly and there is firewood available for $5. The dump station is on the river side campground, so you have to cross the street for that, which isnt a big deal.

Excellent campground way off interstate
Very pretty state park, well maintained, and sort of busy for mid March.
We stayed in the lake side campground. Level sites with muted (by trees ) view of the lake. Yurts had the best views. Riverside is larger. The dump is in the river side, only electric and water at the sites. Greeter host was very helpful, even asked if we qualified for disabled Vet/senior discount, I did. One 24' class c unit with no extra car was $20.60 (3-19-19). An extra car costs $5.00.
The falls were full across the break with an old bridge that gives an excellent photo view of the falls. We only stayed one night so we didn't get to see all the walking trails.

Nice Campground
Been here several times always good experience. Helpful and friendly hosts. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Lakeside loop is small with 22 sites. River side is busier. Woodsy, pavilions, small lake/dam/river, trails, canoe/kayak rentals, no sewer except host, dump stationX2only on river side, nice visitor's center, pool, good hot dog joint/dollar general/gas station outside gate. Couple miles from I-75. Will return.
