Nice find
Large county park with pavillions, boat launch and two campgrounds. One with 65 sites (water and 30/50 A) is on a treed meadow. You drive out on to the meadow a short way to your site, marked by the utility post. The primitive area of 25 sites is in a densely wooded area along the river. Big rig accessible for many sites. Generator hours 8am-10pm. Only one tenter there and our 34' Class A. Care required to pick a site due to terrain but we'll worth it for $69/week+tx.
Popular park with locals who fish off the bank and boat and picnic. A large open air pavilion hosted a wedding with band so it is a mixed use park. Very scenic walking paths. Alligators and lots of birds.

Pleasant And Quiet
This county Park is quiet and spacious with level, grassy sites and quite a few trees. Sites are wide open and roomy. No fire rings or picnic tables. Shower facilities are convenient on either end of Park, aged but reasonably clean. Staff and residents friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly. Park has two small lakes and access to Peace River, which is wonderful for paddling. Wildlife Refuge is small, clean, with just a few animals that look well kept. Park signage is non-existent and there's no map, so good luck finding the dump station hidden in the far West corner of the park. Only weird thing is that the park office reeks of cat urine, and there's junk piled up behind the building -- strange for a county facility.

We spent a week here in the water/electric sites. It was quiet and very pleasant. Lots of places to walk. For $100/ week it was a bargain! There is a boat launch and nice areas to fish by the river. Tent camping is down in the trees and very pretty.
