Off-season Stay
As a TT member we know that this park you choose your site & sewer sites go fast. We made sure to be there early so we would have no problems. Since it’s off season the Park was empty. Over Labor Day weekend it did fill up but not bad. The dog park & walking trails are enjoyable.

Staff is very unfriendly laundromat is crappy had six or seven washers one worked they need to do better. The lottery system they have worked out really stinks I mean it depends on who you are as to where your names on the list they need to work it out and get a better lottery system for sure.

Quiet, beautiful trees, lots of families
We are Thousand Trails members so we did not pay a nightly fee. That changed our perception. Pros outweighed the cons.
First night we arrived after hours. We had called earlier and they said our paperwork would be waiting in the night box. No paperwork so we called the help number. Lady was friendly and explained we should just drive around and find a spot. It was tricky at night but we found site C31 (30amp, water, no sewer)
Next morning we signed up for the silly lottery system and walked around for an hour looking at all the spots available. Got lucky and scored site C13 (50amp, water, sewer)
Other than those small issues, we enjoyed the campground. Kids played at the pool and rode around on the paved roads. Met lots of awesome families.

Adequate
All campgrounds has their pros and cons. Getting reservations during winter months can be challenging but be patient everything will work out fine. This Campground has more Pros than cons. Enjoy your stay.

Thousand Trails
Made my reservation on the website and upon arrival was told where 50 amp and 30 amp sites were and to drive around and locate the site I wanted. Plenty of maneuvering room to accomplish mission. No low limbs to worry about. Park going through renovation/updating, adding 50 amp. Very good laundry facilities. Shopping close by. Grass sites with a few unlevel, may need help leveling. Picnic and fire rings at almost all sites.

Worst campground we've stayed at. Made reservation 3 weeks in advance. Had requested site with 50 amp and full hookup. When we checked in we were told to ride around camp til you find a site! Only sites available were 30 amp (had requested 50 amp when making reservation. They award a 50 amp site using a lottery drawing daily!) One third of the 30 amp sites were not working! After driving around the park for 30 mins pulling a 40 ft TT we found a site. We were told at checkin would get 1 free pump out of our tanks since they didn't have full hookup available. When we call office for a pump out ( we gave them 2 day notice per their procedure) we were told earliest he could schedule it would be March 1. We were leaving on February 23! But if it was an emergency he could be right down to our site for a charge of 25 dollars! What a frigging rip off! Definitely will not camp here again. And definitely will not be renewing thousand trails membership!
