Beautiful Quiet Park

They have large camping sites with plenty of wild foliage in between. Bathroom and showers are very good. Fishing in the river from several spots on shore but limited activity. Interesting plants and wildlife. Lots of bike trails and horse trails to explore.

Peace And Privacy

This was our first campgrounds as newbies and I couldn’t go better. Our spot was site 10 very good space for our fifth wheel. The space was big enough to get a rig as big as 40’. Privacy was a plus for this campground and it was the perfect sizes. The weather was in our favor the 4 nights we spent and although we did had the final night a tornado warning it didn’t really became an issue thanks to our Father. We went to canoe our first whole day and we enjoyed the river it was extremely cool to see all kinds of nature and fishes, we even spotted a few domestic ducks around us. After coming from canoing we decided to go biking which was really good going thru the hiking roads; Lots of alternative. The staff in the site was really friendly and willing to answer and help with anything like the rentals. The campers among the were very friendly and very respectful for the noise rules. Camping in the night next to the fire was really peaceful watching the night skies. Coming soon.

The park was nice we had a good time no complaints

Just spent 3 nights here & really enjoyed it. Just like old Florida. The only problem is that the toilet/showers are closed. No note to say why & if temporary. They have a portable unit with combined shower/toilet. Very small & claustrophobic. Very much like changing & showering in my small TT. Would be 4 stars if it had real showers & restrooms, 5 if it had sewer hookups. But I Will come back. Closing gate early is no problem, they give you the gate combination.

Nice campground

Nice campground. Only complaint is the same one we have about many FL state parks, gate closes way too early. Beware if you show up late, sometimes as early as 5:30.
