Nice campground, water and electric only. The beach is beautiful and the lighthouse isn’t far outside of the park. We rode our bikes to it. Frustrating that there are only 3 bath houses for 6 long loops. In our loop they close the bath house from 10am-11am and you can’t even use the toilets, the next bathroom is very far away. God help you if you need to use it. The cleaning lady would not let me in! Wouldn’t stay here more than a few days next time. Too frustrated having to wait hour to use restroom every morning!

Just An Awesome Stay
Senior Florida residents, so we got a discount. Loved this CG. The only complaint is many of the electrical hookups are located at the front of the sites, making it quite a stretch to plug in your power. LOTS to see and do in the area...hiking, beach, historical areas. Be sure to visit Castillo de San Marcos, the light house, and the walking streets of old St Augustine ... our favorite town in Florida. There is a wide variety of great dining all over the town. Take a tasting tour of San Sebastian winery. This campground is a 10 minute drive from all of this. Book early. We happened to luck out...someone canceled and we were able to snatch 2 nights. Could have stayed much longer. We will most certainly be back.

Great State Park
My wife and I extremely enjoyed our short but quality stay - needed 2 more nights!
The beach was the most impressive, coming from Texas, it was grand.
Amenities were perfectly located, just short walk from camp sites. We will certainly return for sure.

Very nice park. Steve at the front gate was very accomodating. If you have a motorhome like I do make sure you have a means to get around. Car bike etc. We will be back.

A Florida Gem
Beautiful sites on Florida’s Atlantic coast. Understandable why reservations are so hard to make!

Great State Park
I loved this park. So much to offer inside the park and close by. Good to explore st Augustine. Campground very well managed, friendly staff. Very busy so get your reservations in early.

Great campground. Very close to the beach. Sites can be tight to get into but very shaded.

Very nice park. The staff was helpful during our stay. We were able to move to a less flooded site during two days of rain. Coquina loop is close to the beach it has 33 shaded sites. Only one trash container. A long walk from most camping loops. Very nice playgrounds and clean restrooms. Recommend the coquina loop for your stay. However, the other six loops are fine, just not close to the beach. We will come back when it doesn’t rain.

Book Early!
This place fills up super fast so book early! Really beautiful private spots with lots of trees between sites. Amazing beach and trails. You can't go wrong with any of the loops. Bathrooms are clean and showers too. Wish we could have extended our stay it was so amazing. Close to drive into st. Augustine and shops. Laundromat super close but they also have laundry at the bathrooms for smaller loads. Sites are hard packed gravel but all pretty level. There is an alligator zoological park right near the entrance to the park for a family activity.

Nice Camp Grounds. Great Beaches
We stayed there bacicly for bike riding the beach with our mountin bikes. The beach is hard sand, best when the tide is out, and about about 24 mile round trip ride South to the pass. We toured Saint Augustine during the heat of the days and swam the surf in the evening. Defently the beach makes the camp ground. Star gazing on the beach is wonderful.

Awesome
We only stayed one night but the site was great with lots of room for our 32' class A. The entrance to the park seemed tight at first and we thought maybe there was a separate RV entrance but there isn't. The park rangers are nice and helpful. Beautiful park and plan to stay longer another time.

Beachside
Nicely secluded sites and walkable to the beach. (Dogs not allowed on beach) Some sites are pretty uneven, so bring your blocks. Nice nature trail. Clean restrooms and friendly staff.

Amazing
Loved the beach. Walked an hour and half along the shore without seeing civilization. Then back again. Water was nice and warm for swimming. Sites were large and private. Good bathrooms and showers. Busy on weekends. Loved the farmers market. Kept extending our stay eventually to the maximum of 14 days.
