Why is there not a handicap lift into the pool?

Beautiful Park

I’m surprised at the negative reviews. When you drive in it’s like coming into a Hollywood set with large spaces, the Little Manatee River, pool and lots of wildlife. If you like fishing, biking, river walking and a peaceful setting this is it. Expect to see turtles, sand hill cranes, pelicans and at times all kinds of other things jumping in the brackish water as the river connects with the gulf. Yes there are park improvements which in my mind is to the good. Lot rent is $457/month which is very reasonable compared to other parks. Safe and friendly park and within easy reach to beaches and other venues. Been coming here 5 years as snowbird and cannot be beat compared to other over 55 parks nearby. About half of park are seasonal/year round and rest are RVs with obvious pride of ownership.

Not As Advertised

This used to be the Hide-a-way and was sold to Cove Communities. The pool definitely is not heated and they do not have cable! There are 4 jets at one end of the pool and 2 of them do not work. It was also dirty with tiles missing and cracks running down to the bottom. On one day we woke up one morning with no water in the park.

Place is quite but some of the neighbors are druggies and reclaim water stinks but new owners trying to make better the place is getting better

I Liked It!

Nice Place, along Little Manatee River. Some very scenic areas.

It stinks that as a professional who retired in his late 40 and now an empty nester, I can't stay at a quiet rv resort like this. Can you say discrimination?
